Last Words

This is a Blake x Male Reader requested by Brave_Vesperia.

(Y/N)'s POV

(Y/N): "Why is it so bad that I looked at another girl!?!?" I said mad as Blake and I entered my dorm.
Blake: "You weren't just looking at her you were obsessed over her!!" She said back.
(Y/N): "Okay so what does it matter?!?" I said.
Blake: "Cause I'm your girlfriend that's why!!!!" She screamed at me.
(Y/N): "Okay so just because I look at a girl automatically makes me the bad guy?!?" I said as she got up in my face.
Blake: "What is wrong with you?!?" She yelled at me.
(Y/N): "What's wrong with me!?!? You're acting as if I'm gonna leave you for her just because I looked at her!!" I said as I then felt a sharp sting across my face.
Blake: "I hate you!!!" She said as she turned and ran out of the dorm. I just sighed as I then sat down on my bed. She needed time to cool off and I decided it was for the best. I then flopped my head on my pillow and closed my eyes. I needed to get some rest because of the big mission tomorrow. As I let sleep overcome me the last thing I remembered was Blake.

Timeskip Morning

As I stood inside the bullhead I turned to see all of my friends waving goodbye and wishing me good luck. The only person I didn't see there was Blake. I knew she would come because of yesterday and I could understand but know that she wasn't there made my heart ache. As I sat down in in a seat I pulled out my scroll and decided to send Blake a message.
(Y/N) Text: "Hey Blake I know you're still mad at me and probably won't respond but I just wanna say I'm sorry. I know it doesn't mean much over text but I'll make sure to say it in person as well. I love you Blake. I'll see you when I get back." I typed as I then hit send and put my scroll back in my pocket. As I looked out the window of the bullhead I saw the clouds fly by. After a while the intercom came to life.
Intercom: "We are nearing the target Huntsman." It said as I got up from my seat and went towards the door of the bullhead. As the bullhead opened I looked towards the ground to see a Colossal Grim. It stood tall at about 150 meters tall. I then pulled out my broad sword and got ready to jump.
(Y/N): "Let's get this over with." I said as I then jumped from the bullhead and went into a free fall. As I finally neared the Grim I extended my sword and stabbed it into his side cause me to come to a sudden halt. I then felt his body shift and I looked above me to see his hand moving towards me. I then began to climb upwards as his hand barely missed me. As I kept climbing her kept trying to hit me but I managed to dodge every swipe. As I finally reached the top of his head I looked to see a glowing spot directly in the center. I then walked up to it the spot and knelt down on top of it. I plunged my blade into the spot causing the Grim to roar in agony. I then pulled my sword out and continued to stab at the spot until the Grim fell to his knees. I then grabbed onto some fur and held on as his body fell forward. As we fell I began to lose my grip on the fur until I was flung from him. As I fell my mind began to play back memories. As they flashed before my eyes the person I remembered the most was Blake.
(Y/N): "Heh I'm sorry Blake." I said as I closed my eyes. "I won't be coming back." I said as I then felt nothing.

Timeskip 4 Days

Blake's POV

As I stood with my team outside waiting for (Y/N)'s bullhead to arrive I began to pace back and forth.
Yang: "Blake calm down." She said as I stopped and stood in place.
Blake: "How can I Yang?!? What if he hates me?!?" I said as Yang then placed her arm around my shoulder.
Yang: "You guys have been together forever and have had worse scraps than that. I'm pretty sure he won't hate you." She said as I slightly smiled. It was then I heard the sound of the bullhead. As I looked to the sky I saw it getting closer. As it finally landed the bullhead began to open. As it opened I noticed that (Y/N) wasn't there but instead a Sergeant. He then walked out of the bullhead and walked up to us.
Sergeant: "I'm looking for a Miss Belladonna." He said as I stood forward.
Blake: "I'm her. Where's (Y/N) at?" I said worried. It was then the Sergeant pulled out (Y/N)'s sword from off his back and presented it to me.
Sergeant: "I'm sorry to inform you Miss Belladonna but this is all we could find." He said as I felt my world shatter. I then took the sword and held it in my hands looking at it. As the Sergant walked away I fell to my knees. I then felt tears run down my face and fall onto his sword.
Blake: "Ahhhhhhh!!!!!" I screamed out as I let the tears fall down my face. I then felt Yang wrap her arms around me as I kept crying. The man I loved had died and the last words I said to him were 'I hate you'.

Timeskip 2 Months

(Y/N)'s POV

As my eyes began to flutter open I noticed I was in a hut. I then began to slowly sit up but found it hard to. I then looked down to see my body was covered in gauze and bandages. I then heard the sound of a door open.
???: "Oh you're finally awake." A voice said as I looked to my right to see a man standing in the doorway. He then walked towards me and sat in a chair next to the bed.
(Y/N): "Who are you and where am I?" I asked.
Mason: "Well my name is Mason and this is my hut." He said.
(Y/N): "Why am I here?" I asked.
Mason: "Well I saw you fight the Collosal Grim and saw you fall. I assumed you were dead but I checked just to make sure and as luck had it you land in a soft spot of dirt and mud. How you're still alive I haven't the slightest clue but on the bright side you didn't have anything broken just a lot of bruising." He said as I nodded. I then tried my best to get out of the bed but failed. "Whoa easy there you still haven't fully recovered." He said.
(Y/N): "While I thank you for taking care of me I can't stay I have to get back to Blake." I said as he smiled a little.
Mason: "Alright I'll see if I can call for a bullhead." He said as he left with a slight chuckle. I needed to get back to her I just needed to.

Timeskip Beacon

As the bullhead finally landed the door began to open. As it fully opened I exited the bullhead and walked back to the front gates of Beacon. As I neared them I saw Professor Ozpin standing there with his cane and mug.
Ozpin: "Good to see you again (Y/N)." He said as I nodded and we began to walk.
(Y/N): "You didn't think I was gone?" I asked.
Ozpin: "I always have faith in my students." He said with a slight smile.
(Y/N): "Do you happen to know where Blake is Professor?" I said.
Ozpin: "Ever since she found out about your supposed death she has been in a deep depression. She is most likely in her room." He said as I nodded and seperated from him. I then hurried my way to Blake's room. As I neared the room I saw Ruby, Weiss, and Yang walk out of the room.
Ruby: "I don't know what to do anymore guys." She said.
Weiss: "All we can do is be there for her." She said.
Yang: "I just wish (Y/N) wasn't dead." She said.
(Y/N): "Fortunatly I'm not." I said as they turned to me with shocked faces.
Ruby: "(Y/N)?!?" She said in disbelief.
Weiss: "How are you alive?!?" She said shocked.
Yang: "They said you were killed in action." She said.
(Y/N): "I'll explain later. Is Blake inside?" I asked as they all nodded. I then slowly opened the door and entered the room. I then shut the door and looked to see Blake crying silently on her bed. I then moved to her side and sat on the bed next to her.
Blake: "Whoever you are leave me be." She said weakly.
(Y/N): "I don't think so my little kitten." I said as she then shot straight up and turned towards me. When she saw me she gasped and covered her mouth in shock. Her amber orbs were red and puffy from her crying. She then tackled me onto the bed and began to cry uncontrollably into my chest. I then wrapped my arms around her and began to pet her ears softly.
Blake: "I thought you were gone forever you idiot!!!" She said as she cried. "When you didn't come back I thought I would never get to apologize for what I said!!! My last words should have been I love not I hate you!!!" She said as she continued to cry. After a couple more minutes she finally calmed down and looked at me. I then pressed my lips against hers as she returned the kiss. Her lips were still as soft as I remembered. After a while we seperated as she then laid her head back on my chest.
(Y/N): "All that matters is I'm here right now." I said as she snuggled into my chest and I wrapped my arms around her tighter.
