A Bunny Calms Anger

This is a Angry Male Reader x Velvet requested by GrayAmsterdam. Also I'm doing this only in Velvet's POV, because I wanna test just a singular POV chapter so sorry if it isn't as good.

Velvet's POV

I sat with my team and happily munched on my carrots. I know original right and next thing you want me to say is "What's up doc?" right? Well to bad, if you want to see that then go see Bugs. My lunch was ruined when I get Cardin pulled my ears..

Velvet: "Ahh!!!! Cardin let go of my ears!!!" My pained screech echoed through the cafeteria.

Cardin: "Why should I? You're just a freak who's low-" A punch to the face cut him off and sent him flying into the wall. I turned around to see who had helped me. It was the new kid (Y/N) .

Velvet: "Thank you." He grunted and walked out of the cafeteria. He's been doing the same thing for the past three weeks. Whenever Cardin bullied me (Y/N) would stop him. I didn't have the slightest clue why.

Coco: "Hello earth to Vel???" Her hand waved in front of my face.

Velvet: "Huh?!?" I finally snapped out of my thoughts

Coco: "Thinking about (Y/N) again??" She smirked and my face heated up.

Velvet: "I have no idea what you're talking about?" I looked away pouting and my team laughed. It's true, I did have a crush on (Y/N). He not only saved me, but ever faunus that was discriminated. That just made me like him even more.

Yatsuhashi: "If you aren't true with your feelings Velvet then they will never come to fruition." He said.

Fox: "Yatsu is right. If you don't tell him then you will regret it." A small sigh escaped my lips.

Velvet: "I know, I'm just scared. I mean I never see him except for when he saves me so I can't tell him." A defeated tone was present in my voice.

Coco: "Probably has something to do with his anger issues." I looked at her confused.

Velvet: "What do you mean Coco?" I asked her.

Coco: "I overheard some teachers talking about him and apparently due to his past he has a short fuse on his temper. That's why he doesn't have a lot of class and why he doesn't hang around here so much. He doesn't want to go off on people he cares for." I thought to myself for a moment.

What could have happened to him in the past? It worried me to no ends, but I knew what I had to do.

Velvet: "If I leave now maybe I can follow him." I got up and ran out of the cafeteria . I searched for a few minutes until I saw (Y/N) out the window. He was secretly making his way to the Emerald Forest. I quickly ran outside and followed him.

I could hear the sound of fighting the farther I ventured. I finally entered a clearing and saw a grizzly scene. I saw (Y/N) bloodied and wounded. His claymore gleamed a dark black and surround by grimm.

(Y/N): "AHHHHH!!!!!" He ran forward hacking and slashing at anything he could. I saw body parts of grimm fly in every direction. I just stood there in amazement and worry at what he was doing. He rammed his claymore into the last grim and fell to his knees breathing heavily. I rushed towards him and his eyes opened wide.

(Y/N): "Velvet?!?" He fell face first onto the ground. I reached his and check his pulse. To my relief he was still alive. I got out my scroll and contacted Coco.

Coco: "Hello Velvet what's up?" She chimed.

Velvet: "Coco send the paramedics to my location!! (Y/N)'s hurt bad!!!" Panic filled my words

Coco: "What!?!? Okay, I'll send them ASAP." She hung up and I knelt down next to the (Y/N). I placed his head in my lap and waited. After a couple of minutes the paramedics arrived by bullhead and we made our way to the hospital.

Timeskip - 2 Days

I sat next to (Y/N) in my own misery. The man I had a feelings for was in this condition and I couldn't do anything. I lifted my hand and placed it in his.

Velvet: "Please come back to us (Y/N). We all need you. I need you." I looked down with tears in my eyes. I felt his hand grip mine. My head shot straight up and his eyes opened slowly.

(Y/N): "Uhh what the hell happened?" He was groggy.

Velvet: "You're in the hospital (Y/N). You're wounds knocked you out for two days." I tightened my hand around his. "Before you passed at you looked shocked to see me. Why?" He looked away with a bitter look.

(Y/N): "Beacuse I didn't want you to see me like that." I don't want to see him like this.

Velvet: "Why are you so angry? Doing this won't help you." My voice was soft when I asked.

(Y/N): "Because I just am okay!!!" The anger in his voice didn't stir me. He realized what he did and grew a face of regret. "I'm sorry Velvet I didn't mean to yell at you." I shook my head.

Velvet: "Rather than say sorry let me understand why you're like this." He let a depressed sigh escape his lip.

(Y/N): "Growing up my family and I were poor so we couldn't afford the finer things in life so I was given hand me downs my entire life. When I went to school people made fun of me. I grew to hate them and so did my anger. It wasn't until later in my life that my anger finally blossomed. I ran into those same people, who had tortured me, torturing a poor faunus kid just because he was different. Something inside me snapped and never repaired. I just went into a rage and attacked them. They begged me to stop, but I couldn't control myself." He paused for a moment, but I squeezed his hand in reassurance.

(Y/N): "After a while I began to slowly control my anger for a few moments. The only thing I couldn't control was the build up. Everyday my rage grew stronger and stronger. I never let go of that day. I never let that anger and hate go, because it's what fuels me to protect even though it may end of making me lose control permanently." Tears ran down his face. I didn't know what to say. I wiped the tears from his eyes and made him look at me. I stared into his shining (e/c) orbs and brought our faces together. Our lips connected and fireworks went off inside. I pulled away and he was shocked

Velvet: "You need to let that rage go (Y/N). Rather than have rage and anger fuel you, let my love and affection fuel your actions. I love you (Y/N) even with all your flaws. I will love them till the end of time." He brought me onto his bed and wrapped me in a hug.

(Y/N): "No one has ever shown me this type of compassion Velvet. With your love and affection I may be able to control myself. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and when I say these words I mean them with every fiber of my moral being. I love you Velvet." I pecked his cheek with a smile. I finally had the man of my dreams.
