"Do you think they have anything else besides wool in 2147?" Jax asked as he walked out clad in the attire that was appropriate for the future they were in. Meg scratched at the fabric around her neck, letting out an annoyed sigh.

"You think if they did I would still be wearing this?" Meg snapped at Jax dryly. She hated wool! It was itchy, dry, heavy, and stiff. Maybe Savage ended up taking over the world to get rid of this disgusting and uncomfortable fashion 'trend'.

"I hate wool..." The 20 year-old grumbled, folding his arms. Rip came in, dressed in similar attire.

"Be grateful, Mr. Jackson. People outside the Conglomerate are wearing rags." He said, somehow unfazed by the itchy material.

"Conglomerate?" Meg quirked a brow.

"Yes, in the year 2080 the governments start to give way to corporations." Rip answered the redhead.

"More like 2008." Sara mumbled. Meg held in a chuckle, but still cracked a smile. The blonde did have a point.

"According to Gideon, in two hours time, our favorite immortal psychopath is scheduled to attend a meeting of the Conglomerate's share holders." The Captain dismissed the blonde's comment with a small huff.

"Ooh, sounds exciting." Meg piped in sarcastically.

"You think Savage takes over the world by trading stocks?" Snart asked, his tone suggesting that he could care less.

"What we do know is, in 20 years time, Kasnia is the foothold from which Savage takes over the world, so we hardly want to take him on there, but if we can figure out how his actions here led to his rise to power, then we won't need to." Rip explained.

"Copy that, Captain, but if we're gonna be checking out the future..."

"We should probably invite the nerd twins."

The narcoleptic snorter, shaking her head as she thought about some of the things those two would say about the future. Even in 2046, those two were like kids at Disney World. Second thought, when they first set foot into this spaceship they were like kids at Disney World- 2046 was like getting Mickey Mouse's autograph.

"I'll go get them." Margaret offered, tucking her red hair behind an ear as she tried to tune out the conversations around her.

"You sure?" Kendra asked her. The redhead quickly shot the priestess a glare, chewing on her lip. It wasn't rocket science! Meg could go and invite Ray and Stein to come without having to decipher nuclear codes or anything.

"Yeah."

Meg turned away on her heel, her rusty red hair bouncing freely around her shoulders. Ever since the team got back from 1960- she felt different. It was like that feeling she got whenever she was about to go into a blackout, but this time the feeling constantly rested in the pit of her stomach.

Sure, there were times when Meg felt like her old self. Quiet, shy, quirky. She loved feeling like her old self, but with all that had happened to her after joining this team, she didn't feel like that version of Meg would stick around much longer. Especially when she had this darker side that Savage was trying to let out. She either had to let it happen or keep fighting, and honestly, Meg was tired of both.

The redhead passed Mick's cell- where the former bounty hunter was sitting- his eyes fixed expressionless at the wall while he wrung his hands together. Meg sighed, she felt bad for him. Mick felt abandoned by the team, by a man he would call his brother. Then the Time Masters found him- manipulated him- and made him into this monster.
