Dream:

Limping and bloodied, Meg held out the gun in front of her, watching for any signs of movement. Her glare was glazed over, hard, and emotionless- shadows pooled gently at her bruised wrists.

She couldn't remember how she had gotten to this place- but only one thing raced in her mind: find the dagger, get the target, kill the witnesses. The goal repeated over and over in her mind until she could taste it.

"He's in there. Others are with him. There's no doubt the dagger is on his person." A cold voice rang in her ear.

"Got it."

"Hurry up, your time is ticking."

"Marlo- your time is up." She hissed, "Give me what I need and maybe it won't be as bad."

Sweat mixed with blood on her forehead from a gash along her hairline. Meg had faced quite the battle outside the warehouse walls, dealing with men who clearly were buffer and outnumbered her 10 to 1- but with her powers she was able to just hold them off.

She only heard the footsteps of her target scatter in the darkness. Meg frowned, her hooded, glazed eyes searching. She gathered a ball of light in her hand and threw it up in the air, illuminating the whole place.

The warehouse was worn down, shadows creepily reflecting evil shadows from the glowing light. Meg took a few steps forward, her grip tighter on the gun. She was running out of time, and needed to act fast.

"Marlo." She bellowed again, her voice coming out deep and snake like- like a drone.

The patter of footsteps jolted her head to the side. Meg saw the man clutching the dagger in the corner, a gun raised to the red head. A dry, inhumane laugh drew itself from Meg's bloody lips. Her wounded figure was grotesque, making her look more like a demon than a person. Her callused, bruised hand raised, pulling the shirt that was burnt to her back tighter around her figure. The pain barely seemed to bother her.

"Maggie? What are you doing?"

Kyle?

"You said-" Meg hissed, her eyes going completely dark.

"I said a lot of things, Shadow. Kill them."

"But you promised."

"I promised you wouldn't have to think about killing him. You won't, because you'll never remember this. Ever."

"Mags, what's going on? You're not yourself... Please just calm down Mags- we can think this over!"

"Hand it over, Marlo, or this only gets worse." Meg growled, acting the most inhumane she's ever been since experiencing the blackouts.

"Margaret? You're on his side? Look what you're doing!"

"The dagger, Marlo." The gun hissed in the darkness, illuminating the gauntness of Meg's features. Kyle looked at her in disbelief- how could his baby sister turn into this?

"Over my dead body are you having this!" Marlo shouted, shooting a warning shot in the air. Meg raised a brow, raising her gun at the figure.

"Kill him, Shadow. We need the dagger." A voice hissed in her ear.

"That shouldn't be hard, then."

"Maggie- you... you monster!"
