"Meg- you can't do this!" Ray pleaded, brows furrowed together. Meg cracked her joints before taking a sword from Ra's al Ghul. She shot a deathly glare towards the billionaire as she tested the sword for momentum.

Never in her life had Meg ever fought with a sword. She couldn't recall a conscious moment where she needed to, but something in her sub-conscience told her she could do it. Nausea rose in the pit of her throat, and her hands nervously shook.

"I can handle myself, Palmer." Meg snapped, her hand going around the cuff that kept her narcolepsy at bay. Carefully, she loosened the material and slid it off her wrist. The only way she was going to get back Sara, was if she blacked out herself. It was risky, but the only way Meg wouldn't get herself killed.

"In a fight to the death against Sara?" He asked, "You'll get yourself killed."

Anger boiled in her veins as she tossed the bit of metal and fabric to Rip's feet. Meg closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Why was Ray so worried about her now, when hours ago he didn't seem to care about her feelings at all? When he chose to be with Kendra.

"Meg will be fine. Sara has helped Meg with her powers, and I believe Miss Grace can help Sara get in touch with her human side." Rip explained as Sara and Meg circled each other. As the redhead got angrier and angrier, her eyes slowly glazed over. She descended into a blackout.

"Before or after Sara kills her?"

"Palmer- don't you believe in me?" Meg grunted, her voice not entirely like herself. It was... different.

"Not like tha-"

"Don't talk to me."

"Meg are you sure you can handle this?" Kendra asked. Meg glanced at Kendra with glowing eyes that didn't seem to focus. Margaret was gone- her blacked out self replaced her. I

"Sara." The redhead said darkly, "or Ta-er al-Sahfer, or whatever you wanna be called. I know you don't want to kill me-"

"Want is irrelevant. I serve Ra's al Ghul."

She lunged.

Sara and Meg clanged their swords together, the whine of the metal bringing a chill down the Metahuman's spine. Even in her blacked out state where Margaret was actually quite skilled with a sword, she was barely able to keep up with Sara.

The narcoleptic ducked from a blow, and used a strong wave of shadows to knock Sara back, the wall of darkness glowed a deep and menacing red. The Canary narrowed her eyes, her thirst for the kill growing by the minute.

"Zill." She muttered. Meg- well, blacked out Meg for that matter- didn't have to be told twice what that word meant. Someone could have said it in every language written, and she would have known the meaning- that word drilled deep into her brain.

Shadow.

With her eyes filled with deep swirls of light and darkness, Meg only grew angrier. Under her blackout spell, she was a whole different person. Angrier. Bolder. Dangerous.

Sara lunged, her sword sliced a cut shallowly into Margaret's collar bone. The redhead hissed from the sharp sting of the wound travel across her chest. In return, Meg knocked the blonde back with a sharp, blinding wave of light that seemed to suck up all the power around it as it traveled toward the intended target.
