"You're meaning to tell me we are being attacked by the Pirates on the ship who have our friends hostage, and Gideon and Rip formed a pat? And now there's a giant hole in the ship leaking out air?" Meg asked Ray as he shakily piloted the Waverider.
"You miss everything, Meg." Sara piped up, unstrapping herself from a seat with Snart and Kendra.
"Seems like it." She muttered, clinging onto the back of the pilot's chair for dear life. Her heart pounded loudly in her ears, reminding her of a dull headache throbbing in the back of her ears.
"Where are you going?" Kendra asked Sara, her head hitting the back on the seat with a lurch.
"To fix the hole in the hull." She said. Snart unstrapped himself, and left with the undead assassin.
"Try not to kill us, Picard." Snart said, sending a wink to Meg. Her cheeks grew hot, recalling that awkward moment once again. Another lurch sent them forward, clearing Meg's mind of the thought.
Ray zoomed through space, dodging missiles with the help of Gideon.
"I feel more like Sulu! Or Hans Solo!" The temporary captain called, a smirk on his face. Meg rolled her eyes, carefully making her way over to the passenger seats. There, she could sit safely beside Kendra.
"Less fangirl-ing, more piloting, Picard." The priestess shouted as space turbulence (did that even exist) shook the ship violently.
"Captain Palmer, hail the ship and we'll spare you. Either way we're taking the Waverider." The pirate said. Had that screen been on the entire time? Meg cursed under her breath, squeezing her eyes shut.
"He's never going to. Captain Palmer has outrun Kanjar Ro." Rip said, determined.
"Who's Kanjar Ro?" Ray asked as the chat closed abruptly.
"Initiating protocols." Gideon chimed.
"Awesome!" Remarked the ATOM.
"I wasn't talking to you." The interface sassed to Ray. Meg let out a small chuckle. Gideon was sure being sassy today, there was no doubt about that.
"Gideon what did you do?" Kendra asked as the ship slowed down. Meg took off her seat restraints, getting to her feet quickly to see what was going on.
"When Captain Hunter used some key words, I use a protocol that corresponds to it. We've been cloaked, and in a different location than the Akeron." The interface said.
"What do we do about Rip? How do we get them back?" Meg asked, concerned that her friends were trapped with possibly blood-thirsty space pirates and a Time Master who wants to turn them in. Plus- air was leaking out of the ship. The red head couldn't believe no one was overly concerned about that!
"I believe Captain Hunter may have a plan." Gideon replied.
"Are you sure?" Ray asked, getting up from the pilots chair, folding his arms.
"No. But you should get to the hole in the hull. We have a slight problem, Dr. Palmer." Gideon replied. Sara and Snart went to go fix it.. What could have happened?
The three of them booked it to the damaged part of the hull, Meg's hands clammy with anxiety. She was hoping that Sara and Snart weren't in danger... but with the month she's been having, they probably were.
