"Miss Grace."

"Miss Grace!"

Meg woke up in a cell. The walls were clear, almost as if they were made of thin glass, and two people stood blearily in front of her. She blinked a few times, sitting herself up. A pain erupted in her side- a burning, prickly sensation that ached however she moved.

"What am I doing in here?" Meg asked, her eyes curiously searching the area around her. She stood up slowly, letting out a groan of pain from the unknown wound that penetrated her side.

"I'd like to ask you the same question." Rip said, arms folded plainly. He looked distrustingly down at Meg, "Why did you shoot the team?"

"What?" Meg furrowed her brows- giving a look to Sara, who stood on the other side of the cell with Rip, "I don't know what you're talking about."

"Meg, you used your powers to fire at us." Sara said, a little more gently than Rip, "Don't you remember?"

A deep seed of shock rose in Margaret's throat. Perspiration dotted her forehead slowly as she came to realization.

"I blacked out." Meg rested her forehead against the glass, "I... I did exactly what I thought I was going to do..."

"What?"

"I have narcolepsy, Rip. Sometimes I fall asleep when I feel a strong emotion... other times I black out completely. I can't control it." Meg explained, frustrated with herself.

Raymond Palmer suddenly rushed him, his hands stained in blood.

"Rip, we need Meg. Kendra's unstable; and she might be the only one who could help." He said urgently.

"Keep a close eye on her. We don't want her to have another... blackout. Have Gideon do a neural scan on her- just to be sure she's not lying." Rip sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. Sara opened the cage, and Meg rushed out.

"Margaret, we're trusting you to help, got it? Don't make any of us regret it."

"Y-yes."

She sprinted out, following Ray back to the med bay.

Kendra was laying in the med-bay, crying hysterically from the shock of losing Carter. Her stomach was bleeding heavily. Meg studied the situation quickly, her adrenaline pounding in her ears.

She ran over to Kendra, and immediately started to put pressure on the wound. Her hands shook like crazy, but Meg tried to keep a clear mind.

"Stein- I need you to grab that IV bracelet and put it on Kendra." Margaret said quickly as he mind raced.

"Are you going to shoot at me now too?" The old man grumbled, "That was very irresponsible."

"I can't always help it, okay?" Meg snapped harshly, "Okay... Gideon I'll need you to help out a little."

"I'll do the best I can, Miss Grace." Gideon replied in her usual voice. With her hands coming off the wound, Meg wiped her hands free of hot, sticky blood so she could regulate the IV fluids going into Kendra- as well as close up her wound. Ray and Stein gather around her, keeping a close eye on Kendra and Meg.

"Do you know what you're doing?" Stein asked. Meg looked up, her sweaty brow furrowed together. She was trying not to let the pain from the wound in her side show on her face. Kendra was dying- while Margaret was just wounded. The priorities seemed to straighten out themselves.

"I work with dead bodies. Not alive ones. So if you two can please put in your two cents that would be nice." The red head snapped again. Her facial features softened briefly as she shook her head, "Sorry... I'm just... it hasn't been the greatest day, okay?"
