-Thank you for requesting Bella! Nice to see you active again! I'm sorry if this is crappy!!!TuT-

The world was too simple nowadays. The original curiosity humans came to possess over hundreds of generations was fading rapidly. Imaginations were becoming narrow, and trivial materialistic things occupied the life span of most lives in this century. As a creature of the past yourself, it pained you greatly to watch the world's colours fade away to grey and black. You were the last of the Astrea Era, and the bloodline of stars ran through your veins. However, you had no choice but to blend into the current society to avoid being outcast and harmed. You longed for the days where you could roam free in the skies and do as you please without any precautions.

Since you couldn't talk to anybody about your situation, you were always alone. You wished that you could say that you were used to it, but you weren't. The memories of your siblings and family were still freshly inked into your mind, and every time you closed your eyes, you could see them. That was probably why you didn't sleep. As a late descendant of the gods, you could go as long as a month without sleep, yet you could barely remember what if felt like to have a good night sleep. Instead, everyday as the sun's shift is handed over to the moon, you stayed up counting the stars all the night. Sometimes, you would rearrange them playfully and even cause meteor showers out of sheer horseplay. But nobody was there to laugh with you and the dark sense of loneliness weighed down on your chest like a giant burden. You were on the verge of giving up on living a life without regrets, until one day, someone fatefully stumbled upon your presence.

"Who the fuck are you?" he exclaimed in shock.

You spin around from where you were sitting with your face turning ghostly pale in horror. You've never had a private one on one conversation before, and now that you are practically forced to communicate with this man, your mind is occupied by a whirlwind of emotions. Just as you are debating whether or not to utter a single word to him, his grey eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"Did Erwin send you?" he snarled distastefully and a chill runs up your spine.

He quickly made his way over, his cold aura was radiating off of him coldly. His glare was sharp and even malicious. It sucked something out of your soul, and you visibly wilted under his shadow.

"N-no. Nobody sent me. I just wanted to look at the stars." you squeaked.

Levi's expression loosened a little at your response, but it hardened again as he clicked his tongue in annoyance. His gaze fell like an act of violence, and your heart falters in fear. You cringe as he moves forward to plop down next to you. He quickly crossed his legs and took a moment to scan the glistening sky above him. For a second, he forgot about you entirely and channeled all his focus on the beauty of the stars above. The way he looked at them intrigued you immensely. After all, you've never seen someone look at the sky with so much emotion.

"Did you lose someone important to you?" you murmured a question and his head immediately snaps to you, as if he had just remembered about your presence.

"H-how did you know that?!" he hissed through his teeth.

"I-it's just...your eyes looked so full of sadness. I'm sorry if I offended you." you bowed gently.

"No. It's fine. What's your name?" he asked cautiously.

"It's (Your Name). What's yours?" you answered a little wistfully as you glance up.

"Levi."

A minute of silence ensued, but it was rather pleasant.

"Do you miss them? The person you've lost?" you hummed softly.

"I would be lying if I said 'no'." he breathed with his eyes reflecting raw pain .

A sudden idea sparks in your mind and you turn to look at the man in the eye with a huge playful grin.

"Do you believe in magic?" you whispered as you never once broke eye contact.

"What?" his eyebrows furrow as he is taken aback by your strange inquiry.

"If I showed you something, will you promise to keep it to yourself? You have to swear to me that you'll keep my secret." you demand sternly.

"Alright, alright. I promise." He complied.

"Well, you see. These two new stars appeared today over there. Don't you want to see a star up close?" You say almost excitedly.

"What are-" he began but he is quickly cut off.

You flick your wrist forward and two of the stars fall like comets on to the roof right next to you. You quickly pick up the two glowing orbs an present it at him. His face looked priceless, but then, his brows furrow as he looks into each orb intensely. You look down too and gasp as you see two faces being formed by the stardust.

"Farlan...! Isabel!?" He choked on his words as the tears began to coil around his eyes.

"Yo Levi."

"Hi Levi-aiki!!"

The images then fade away and the orbs grew brighter and brighter until you have no choice but to let them go. You both watch them return to the sky in silence until you decided to break the silence.

"Levi, I'm so sorry. I didn't know that-" you began.

"It's fine." He croaked as he turned his back to you before walking away from you with his cape ruffling behind him.

"Wait!" You called out and grabbed on to his shoulder.

"Levi. This war. You can win it." you whispered as your voice began to break.

"What's the point. We're all going to die anyway." He scoffed as he ran his fingers through his hair before hiding his face in his palm.

Just as you are about to answer, you look down at your hands to see them beginning to tingle. You seemed to be forgetting that you were a star too, and stars don't live forever. They burn out at one point in their lifespan, and now was your time. In the place of your limbs and body parts was a flow of shimmery particles. Levi extends his hand to touch you, but his fingers only pick up on the glitter-like substance and nothing more. He searches your eyes frantically for an answer, and you didn't have any more time to explain what was going on.

"For Farlan and Isabel. Do it for them."

And just like that you were gone, leaving behind a trail of stardust that left Levi with bittersweet hope for the future.
