That One Tear.(Levi Cries.)

Levi never handled fights well. He would never admit that he was wrong until it was too late. His stubborn demeanor was always troublesome for you, but somehow you ended up forgiving and being forgiven. Every couple fights or disagrees at one point in their lives, it was just more frequent with you both.

That day was the worst fight you had with him. It was getting pretty heated, words being bombarded on to each other until you both were left breathless.

"Fine...I'm done." You breath as you grab your belongings, shoving them into a duffel bag as you begin to look for your necessities.

"So you're running away again?" He breaths back menacingly, his grey eyes almost silver from anger.

"No. I'm leaving. I don't think we'll work out." You say firmly with your back turned to him. You made sure you sounded firm, but you felt like your insides were being turned inside out. You wanted to curl up and cry, but this was not happening again.

"What are you saying?" His voice sounds hurt and relentless.

You pull the engagement ring from your finger and turn around, holding it out to him.

"I just can't keep living like this anymore." You say softly as he searches your eyes.

Levi grabs the ring with his forefinger, but wraps his hand around your extended hand. His eyes firm but pleading at the same time.

"Please don't do this." His voice wavers tremendously as if he was going to cry.

"Levi. We aren't going anywhere with this. We just end up hurting each other. Maybe this way, it'll be easier if one of us...if something were to happen to us." You didn't dare to say 'Die', it scared you how much you accepted death already. However, it only is natural if you lived in a world surrounded by man-eating titans.

He loosens his grip submissively as he never lets your gaze go. You open the door and hesitate, shaking away the feeling to run back to him.

You never see that one tear roll down his cheek.

In fact, you never see him again.

You were eaten shortly after you separated with Levi. Maybe god knew your fate, and you chose to save him from the pain. The pain of losing someone.
