You would have never guessed that your son was gay. He never made the effort to come out to neither of his parents, nor did he make it obvious. He had hidden himself so well, that nobody suspected a thing.However, that did not mean that he wasn't suffering. He was pretending to be someone he wasn't and that must have been excruciatingly hard for him. He was a senior in Humanity High, and his reputation would be in jeopardy, along with the disgrace that he expected his parents to feel for him. He never brought home a single girl in his whole teenage life, and that did worry you a little. You were always paranoid that he was being treated as an outcast in school without you nor Levi knowing about it, but it all made sense when he came home one day to introduce his lover.
"Mom..dad..meet my boyfriend." (Your Son's Name) motions towards a boy about his age with a small shy smile plastered on his face.
You glance nervously at Levi as he glances up from his cup of tea. You weren't sure if he had a resting scowl, or that he was disappointed by what he was hearing. He sets his cup down gently before pulling himself up to his feet. He walks towards his son and you begin to worry that Levi would do something brash.
"(Your Son's Name)...you forgot to clean your room AGAIN. How many times to I have to tell you to clean your damn room!" Levi hisses before shaking his head.
"You're not mad that I-" his son begins hesitantly as he exchanges a confused look with his boyfriend.
"That is the least of my concern for you...young man. You can love whoever you want, it isn't my job to choose your lover for you." He replies as exasperated as usual.
Your lips curl up into a smile as you greet the two boys with a fond hug
"Come on, dinner is ready. (Your Son's Boyfriend's Name) Would you like to stay for dinner?"

You walk out of the shower with a towel wrapped around your freshly washed body. As you run your fingers through your wet hair, you turn around to see Levi staring intently at you.
"I was actually surprised to see our son bring home a man.." You laugh as you shake your head to get rid of the excess water.
"I was too. But he is our son and I promised to love both of you unconditionally. I'm glad he found someone to love."
