"Levi we talked about this..it's natural that (Your Daughter's Name) has a boyfriend by now, she's 17!" You try to reason with your short husband as he cleans his shotgun.
"I know that, but I need to leave an impact on him. Like if he messes with my daughter, he would know what's coming." He gruffs as he continues to shine the already shiny gun.
"Honestly.." You sigh as you prepare dinner for the coming guest.
When the door finally rings, you hear Levi open the door and you peek out to see him with his arms crossed as he lets them both in.
"Dad...this is (Boyfriend's Name).." Your daughter introduced him shakily, afraid that her dad would do something rash.
The poor boy extends his hand slowly and Levi takes it while glaring into his eyes.
"Son. Are you serious about my daughter?" He asks menacingly as he cracks his knuckles.
"Y-yes sir! I love her with all my heart." He stutters and Levi sighs.
"Okay, sounds good enough to me, but if you hurt her, you know where this is going." He points at the gun pointed at him and you freak out.
"That's illegal Levi! Put that fucking gun away!" You dash in and bonk your husband on the head as you smile kindly at the sheepish boy.
"Come on in! Dinner's almost ready." You laugh as you drag Levi along by the helm of his shirt.
After a relatively good dinner, Levi wraps his arms around your waist as you both watch your daughter and her boyfriend walking along side by side.
"You really were so hard on him." You giggle.
"You think so?" He tilts his head to you with a small smile.
"I remember when we were in high school...you would beat up every man that would ever try to hit on me." You sigh as you lean in to him.
"What can I say...I was willing to kill for my little brat." He murmurs as he licks his lips.
