"Hey Levi?" You hum as you wrap your arms around his bare neck.
"Mm?" He answers as he holds you closer to him under the covers.
"What was your mother like?" You ask as you bury your face into the crook of his neck.
"I...I don't know." He breaths and you push him a little to look him into his eyes.
"You mean-" you begin and he strokes your cheek softly, a hint of great sadness under those eyes.
"Kenny never said anything besides the fact that she sold her body for money." Levi answered bitterly as he was reminded of his mentor.
"So you've never had a family?" You ask with disbelief.
"No. The closest thing I had to one was Farlan and Isabel, but they're gone now." His voice softens a little bit.
"I'm sure you're mother loved you." You smile at him as you lean your forehead against his.
"How can you be sure that anyone loved me?" He chuckles dryly.
"I know because I love you." You whisper and he pulls himself up and over your body; lowering himself on to your lips.
"When we have a family some day, I'll make sure I take care of you and our children." He says as he pulls away.
"Is that so?"you tease sneakily as you reach over to the bed desk and pull out a white stick.
You hand it to Levi and giggle as you watch his eyes widen and light up.
"Are you serious?" He demands and you give him a series of happy nods.
He wraps his arms around you and you both hug for a very long time.
"Oh my god (Your Name). I'm so happy."
