"How was your day today?" The voice echoes through your computer as you tap away at your essay.

"It was okay...what about yours?" Your heart instantly warms as you hear his voice over the call. You hoped that he could hear it over the other side.

"Shit. It's getting fucking cold here." Levi grumbles and you cannot help but giggle.

"Well..I guess winter is approaching." You grin happily as you switch your tab to the Skype call.

  You glance at the timer and a smile curls up your lips as you realise that you both had been talking like this for about 3 hours. It was something normal to you both now, since you were never able to be physically there for him when he needed to talk. Every night, it would be the same. Levi enjoyed these few hours with you, because it made his reality a little less dark.

"Yep. Christmas..." He sighs. He was never really into festive holidays like Christmas.

"Your birthday." You correct him and he clicks his tongue before shrugging you off.

"Don't bother coming this time. It's too far and costly for you." He murmurs responsibly, but you knew deep down that he wanted to see you as much as you wanted to see him.

"Come on..Levi. You should know me well by now. I'm coming over for my Christmas Break, and you can either let me stay with you, or I'll just freeze on the streets." You joke.

"I guess you don't even leave me a choice huh?" He cracks a small smile and you smile back at his figure on the screen.

"Nope." You nod with triumph.

"Alright fine."

  You rub your hands together to create the temporary warmth that was much needed. Levi was right, it got pretty cold down in France (Levi is french). You turn your head a couple of times as the vapours rises visibly from your mouth. You were beginning to shiver now, and you began to wish that you had worn that extra layer that you decided not to wear. The airport was busy, mainly because it was Christmas and everybody was coming home to visit family. Just as you let your mind wander, a small bump almost sends you fumbling backwards and you look down to see a small toddler with tears streaming down his face.

""Est-ce que ça va ?" You ask if he's okay in a smooth accent before patting his head gently as his mother comes rushing to apologise. You laugh it off and say it's alright before you hear the familiar click of his tongue.

"Tch. As disgustingly kind as ever huh?" You can almost hear the smile in his voice.

  You turn around to see him with his arms crossed as he walks over towards you. You cannot begin to describe how you felt as you saw your lover approaching you. For once, he was the real thing and not a 2D replacement. You run into his arms and you feel his strong arms wrap around your waist tightly as he returns the heartwarming embrace. He does not let you go for a long time as he nuzzles into your neck. When you do pull apart, he pulls your face in with both hands as his lips search for yours.

"I missed you."
