Oh why hello there

It seems I have stumbled upon the internet again.

Guess who got not only wifi but time to come and say hello to you wonderful people?

MEEEEEE

So despite the fact I've been MIA for about a week (sorry, duty calls!) why exactly did I choose this specific rant? Well since I've come back from my week long choir tour, I've learnt many things. But mostly, it has increased my hatred of people.

Why may you ask?

See, when I was on my tour I was with people. 40 people to be exact. So you can imagine me, amongst the other 39. Sounds great right?

WRONG.

SO WRONG

Ahem, anyways.....

Continuing on!

So let me just cut to the chase- I was basically with people 24/7. And when it comes to me and people.... well here's the thing. I have a slightly small tolerance range for people sometimes. That and the fact that I need alone time (in fact sometimes I prefer to be alone).

So imagine this- someone who needs her alone time (cuz without it she'll freak out) is with another 39 people for a week and is at least with 1 or 2 of these people even without the whole of the group.

In short- I had to somehow maintain myself while I was surrounded by people.

And truth is by the end of it I needed my privacy and I needed to be away from everyone.

*Especially considering some of these people were extremely rude*

Like for example, we were divided into groups, and we had a chaperone plus a handful of other choristers. There were 6 other people in my group, and I thought at the start- this is gonna be prettyyyy good. God did my opinion change after all that.

See there was this girl....let's call her Melissa. So Melissa seemed really nice and sweet especially cause her parents (who I had met on previous occasions) were nice as well.

So the first day when we were getting on our plane and everything, Melissa was nice and whatever. But then, by second day she said aloud and straight to my face about "it's so gross that you haven't brushed your teeth even though you puked on the plane!"

So 1. Yes I get airsickness and yes, I ended up throwing up twice on the plane ride- but I wasn't anywhere near her, so why would it be such a problem for her?

2. Please tell me how much time I had between getting off the previous flight to going through security again, finding the other gate, to only discover it was leaving in 15 minutes when we got there, and quickly going to the bathroom but not being able to brush your teeth cause there were only two frigen sinks and having to go back out for a head count and trying to eat a small bite of a bagel you had saved so that you weren't starving and then getting on the next flight.

So please tell me, did I have any time?

So I brushed it off, I mean people make comments about everything and anything.

But the farther along the trip got, the worse Melissa got. She was rude, and definitely annoying. There were many other things she had done, but I'm going to save you guys and just move on.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that she also brainwashed one of my best friends and made MY bestie into HER bestie?

Whoopsies that just came out!

My entire point about Melissa being that if she had something to say to me like (this actually happened though!) if my shorts were too short cuz my butt was hanging out here's the scenario that played out:

*everyone walking along doing whatever*

Melissa: *yelling* OMG HEARTRAIN YOUR BUTT IS HANGING OUT OF YOUR SHORTS!!1!1!!!!1

Me: *pulls shorts down and keeps walking*

See if not only did she have the nerve to shame me in public but she also decided to yell it at the top of her lungs.

Now if I had gone about it....

*walking along*

*sees friends shorts are a little too short*

*pulls friend aside quickly*

Me: hey _____ I just wanted to let you know your shorts a kinda short so your butts hangin out a bit. I'm just saying this as a friend.

See the above tactics are a lot better aren't they?

See if she hadn't made my wardrobe mishap a PUBLIC thing, we would've had a swell time now wouldn't we?

God I wish people had privacy settings.

Ah well thankfully she's gone and away (despite the fact she's not far away and is just across the English Channel UGH)

Anyways I'm going to sit and enjoy England cause that's what I do best at! That, and sleeping!

Hopefully though you've enjoyed this rant (I don't know if enjoyed is the word.....) but comment if you wish, and vote for it if you agree!

Have fun wherever you are and I'll be with frizzy hair of which I don't care!

Byyyyeeeeeee

xx
