thursday after school I had the gang over and we built our house, which was a boat. my dad built a wooden frame so it had structure and stayed in place. then friday I had them over again and we added the finishing details.
saturday morning I had to go to a girl scout basic outdoor skills training camp thing that was from like 8-2. it was all outside and it was absolutely freezing.
since the camp is made for gs leaders ( they only had a few leaders signed up so they allowed senior scouts like me to go ), there was a test at the end and afterwards you got a certification thing. since I took that class, I can help out at gs day camps for younger girls.
we learned how to start fires ( already new that ) and cook and a bunch of safety stuff.
I ate way too much there because the food was so good. when I got home, I had a horrid stomach cramp. it lasted until I had to leave for beta.
beta habitat for humanity was sooo much fun. our house didn't win, but we had an awesome time giving people tours of it.
we got to play hide and seek in the dark too, I was never found lmao.
we didn't get to spend the night and had to leave at 12 am. we were supposed to take our houses home with us, but that didn't happen.
the gang and I decided to have some victory kicks at our house, because we knew it wouldn't fall or break. well here comes our beta prez and secretary.
they started beating the crap out of our house. they broke the whole thing and colin got it on video. then everyone threw all of their cardboard in the center of the gym. our sponsor got kinda ticked we did that until some senior said they found a dumpster across the street. no one knew whose it was but we still went and threw the scraps in there anyways 😂
I'm not gonna be surprised if we get chewed out monday by our sponsors because they got an angry call from the owner of the dumpster.
did I mention we wrote graffiti all over the inside of our house? our boat was also named the "SS rip Club Penguin."
