The day that had been delayed for numerous months had finally arrived – the wedding of Steven Yeun and Athena Anders.
Originally, the wedding was meant to occur in the summer so that the rays of the hot sun could beam down on the couple as they said their emotion-filled wedding vows to each other. However, due to the numerous incidents that had occurred after they had gotten engaged at the beach, it was now an autumn wedding, which both of them were perfectly fine with. The location of the ceremony faced the breathtaking purple and pink sunset, making the atmosphere feel much more cozy and romantic. At the end of each seated aisle, scented candles hung from crooked tree branches. The leaves, which used to be a pretty green, had all transformed into a gorgeous auburn colour, and were now falling off the trees and cascading to the ground, and spreading themselves across the aisle.
"You need to breathe, Athena." Lauren, one of Athena's bridesmaids, instructed the brunette female, who was shaking intensely as nerves consumed her entire body, not allowing her to have full control over her body.
