As the door to the hospital room opened, boisterous shrieks were heard before numerous bodies lunged at Athena, wrapping their arms around the brunette female who was almost fully recovered physically. The brunette female let out a large laugh, allowing her co-workers to engulf her in tight hugs that almost restricted her breathing, but she didn't care at that moment. She longed for her friends to stop her breathing, so that she could possibly see her best friends and her baby, but she also longed to continue breathing because she knew that her best friends and her baby wouldn't want her to die – Steven didn't want her to die.
She longed to be happy, but she didn't know where happiness was anymore.
Happiness, in her mind, was with her best friend, her family and her co-workers. However, those three things were now split. Her best friend was dead. Her baby – her own flesh and blood – was dead. One of her co-workers and another one of her best friends was dead. Although, her parents were alive. Steven – her fiancé and soon-to-be husband - was alive. Most of her co-workers were alive. So, where was her happiness?
"Athena! My babe!" Lauren cried out, a few happy tears strolling down her cheeks at the sight of one of her best friends alive.
Steven let out a small chuckle, crossing his arms while a playful pout appeared on his lips, "I think you mean my babe, Lauren. After all, she is my fiancé."
"Shut it, Steven! Athena is our wife and wife beats fiancé!" Alanna yelled at Steven, forcing him to put up his hands in mock surrender as the cast continued to engulf his fiancé in tight hugs.
"You're going to kill the poor girl if you don't get off her soon, then neither of you will have a wife or fiancé!" Michael yelled out, making the group of females release Athena from their tight grasp so that she could finally breathe freely.
A small but visible smile made its way onto Athena's face as she glanced at the many people in the room, "It's nice to see you too."
"Okay, so where should I put the tequila?" Christian questioned, reaching inside of her bag while everybody else groaned or shook their head in disapproval, causing the female to let out a laugh and take her hand out of her bag, "I'm kidding!"
"You better be, Kish. I told you no alcohol or else we'll get kicked out of here." Steven grumbled, although an amused smile was still on his face.
Suddenly, a familiar song unexpectedly rang out from Sonequa's jean pocket, signaling that she had a call incoming. The female hastily reached her hand into her pocket and grabbed her phone before she declined the call, releasing a small sigh as she did so. Nobody had noticed Athena's eyes widen with shock as she recognised the song, and she knew exactly why she had recognised it. It was Abi's favourite song.

To say that Athena was nervous as she made her way towards set was an understatement. Only a few months before this moment did she receive the call saying that she managed to get the part of Alexis in AMC's new show 'The Walking Dead'. The brunette had read the comics previously, but she had never heard of a character called Alexis, which made her nerves ten times worse.
