STEVEN she was released from the hospital a few hours ago, before she was on instagram. luckily, the stab wound wasn't deep. it only required some stitching and then she had to stay to be monitored, but they eventually decided that it was okay for her to go home as long as she's cared for by someone else at home for the next few days. she's still shaken up, obviously, but she's trying to seem happy and okay for the sake of her fans. she doesn't want to be depressed anymore, so she's putting up a façade. she keeps apologising to me and i don't even know why if i didn't leave her by herself then none of this would've happened why did i think that it was okay to leave her by herself? am i that fucking dumb?
THAT BIKE DUDE stop it. stop blaming yourself. tell athena to stop blaming herself. none of this is any of your faults. travis would've attacked athena if you were or weren't there. you told me that when he regained consciousness, he still tried to attack her and you. he would've attacked her regardless of your presence. you're in a shitty time, but you've managed to get through it. you're both so strong and i wish i was as strong as you two if any of this happened to me and sonequa then i wouldn't even know what to do however, you two have managed to get through it, and you will get through everything else that comes your way. travis will be sent to prison, and if not, then i'll just run him over with my motorbike like i should've done when we first found out that he was abusing her. but either way, you two will get through it together, just like you've got through everything else together.
STEVEN i love her so much, norman. i don't want anything else to happen to her because i don't know what she'd do and if i lost her, then god, i don't know what would happen. the times where we haven't spoken have been hell for me. when she was unconscious, that was my worst nightmare. when i saw her on the floor, with blood coming out of her chest, i thought the worst. i just want her to be okay. i want her to be happy. but i know that recovery doesn't come so quickly. and she can't just forget that everyone she loved is dead. i care more about her than i do myself, and sometimes that scares me.
THAT BIKE DUDE you're wrong. everyone she loved isn't dead, because she still has you. she has you and all of us. she may not have abi, spencer or baby yeun, but they're all helping her from wherever the hell they are. athena wants to be happy because she knows that abi, spencer and baby yeun would want her to. but she also wants to be happy because of you. she'll struggle. and she may have bad times. but she'll also have good times, because we, as a family, will make her have good times. we will all come and drag her out of bed in the morning if we have to. because we, as a cast and as a family, just want you two to be happy.
