"Steven." A voice whispered upon setting his sights upon one of his closest friends, who looked completely broken and destroyed as he sat in the waiting chair, his hands tightly gripping his hair as tears dripped down his cheeks.
The Korean male lifted his head up to see Norman looking down at him, with a worried, panicked and pregnant Sonequa trailing a few steps behind him. Norman's eyes were glossy, and it looked like he was about to break down in tears, which Steven completely understood. Norman and Athena were like siblings, seeing as they always joked together even during the filming of season one and two of The Walking Dead.
On the other hand, Sonequa already had tears dripping down her cheeks as she worried for her two best friends. Abigail and Athena were the first people she had met on set, and they instantly made her feel welcomed. She never thought that anything bad could happen to the pair, simply because they were both so amazing.
Before another word was spoken between the three, Steven stood up from his seat and wrapped his arms around Norman in a tight hug. As soon as this interaction was made, Norman broke out into tears while Steven continued sobbing, and a few seconds later, Sonequa joined the hug as loud sobs wracked her frame.
They stayed like that for a few seconds before they heard a familiar masculine British accent rang through the crowd, "Norman, Steven, Sonequa!"
Andrew rushed up towards them, clearly worried for his co-workers, and as soon as he set his sights upon the three, he grabbed them all in a tight hug – again. Tears dotted his blue eyes as he attempted to push them back, though a stray tear slipped down his cheek every once in a while.
"Has there been any news?" Andrew questioned, which caused Steven to shake his head and sit back down in his chair.
"Nothing." Steven answered, gripping his hair in his hands as he continued talking, "All they've told me is that they've contacted their families."
Noticing his girlfriend's worried expression, Norman grabbed Sonequa's hand and squeezed it reassuringly, "They'll get through this – they're strong."
The four of them nodded, agreeing with that statement. All of them knew that the two females were strong. There was once a time on set where Athena had fractured her ankle performing a stunt, though she still continued acting. Once her scene was over, Steven had to force her to go to the hospital to get it checked out. Another time on set, Abigail had broken her wrist while being her weird and crazy self, though she refused to go to the hospital and she filmed all of her scenes.
"Steven." A familiar voice murmured, causing the five of them to turn around and see Michael and Josh with sympathetic looks on their faces before Michael continued to speak, "How are they?"
