* This request came from girlmighty I'm extremely sorry for how long this took to post since it was over a week. I've been very busy and stressed lately with school starting and it will most likely reflect in my work so I sincerely apologize.

This one does mention and suggest sex a lot. So, if you are uncomfortable with that or if you are too young to be knowing about that, please don't read. Thank you for understanding! *

Nobody was sure what to do. Gally was rallying everyone he could against Thomas, Alby was lying unconscious on a bed, and Thomas was running off into the maze with Minho. There was no order anymore; it was all chaos.

Newt was taking it the hardest, being as he was the filler for the leader role once Alby was locked inside the maze. Newt wasn't sure how to run a glade since he had only been the Second in Command and hardly made any real 'leader-like' decisions while Alby was running the show. He was being the back up for right now, and he just didn't think he was doing a good job.

As for me, I was hiding inside my room in the homestead where I had spent most of today after the girl arrived. My eyes were locked on the thin note in my hand, black ink scribbling horrifying words the gladers and I couldn't understand.

She's the last one. Ever.

I mean, how are you supposed to react to a note that was changing the way things were being done. And that was even before the worse words came.

Everything's going to change.

These were the words the girl, whom we still didn't know the name of, muttered after she jerked awake and before she fell back asleep. Her voice was icy as she stared directly at Thomas when she said it. Chills ran up my back when I reminisced over the scene that ensued after the boys carried her to the Med-huts.

"I think you should worry about the note," Thomas said while staring at the girl. It was obvious from his expression the familiarity he had when he looked at her.

"We'll worry about the note later," Newt remarked sternly, trying to put Thomas in his place.

Thomas, as usual, ignored the look Newt sent him, and made his mindless comment anyway. "I think you should worry about it now."

"No, Newt, he's right," Jeff added from the other side of the girl. He rose up to stand tall from leaning over the girl when he went to check on her. "If the box isn't coming back up, how long do you think we're going to last?"

Newt glanced at me, reading the sudden terrified expression on my face as the new thought entered my brain. No box meant no supplies, no supplies meant no food, no food meant starvation, starvation meant death. We would all last a month or two at the tops.

"Nobody said that. We'll just wait till she wakes up and see what she knows. Alright?" He made sure Thomas nodded before adding, "Maybe then we'll finally get some bloody answers."

Mumbling something under his breath, Thomas bolted out of the room claiming he was going back into the maze. Newt had Minho run after him to stop him from the doing the idiotic and suicidal thing he was about to do.

I played with the note in my pocket between my fingers with my eyes on the girl. I was so focused on her that I didn't hear Newt calling my name until he stood directly in front of me, blocking my view.

"Hey," he whispered, and placed his hands on my cheeks in a comforting way. "Don't worry about it. Nothing bad is going to happen."

"But, Newt, what if it does? Jeff and Thomas were right, we can't last long without the box. It's only a matter of time before we all-"
