* I decided to try something a little different. I combined two requests into one because I thought they would work well together. So, the two requests came from PrincessofPugs and MagicCrank16  I hope you both like how it turned out! 💖 *

When I first came to, all I felt was water in my lungs. I flipped over onto my stomach and coughed out the water residing in them. Seconds later is when the ceiling above me started  coming closer. The place I was inside was shaped and moved like an elevator, but there was no door for me to leave from.

The squealing of a pig to my right sent me jumping backwards against the farthest wall. The pig was hidden inside a crate against the parallel wall with a large tarp covering it. Boxes and smaller crates were stacked high on top of the pig crate and the two beside it, although I couldn't make out what or if there were animals inside them.

A loud siren above my head drew my attention upwards. There was a single red light lining the path up with significant distance apart from the next, so just barely enough light was visible at the middle point. Even in that terrible lighting, I could make out the ceiling rapidly approaching.

My first instinct was to scream, even though I knew it would be no help to me at all. So, my next instinct was to crouch behind a circular barrel in the corner of the wall adjacent to me. Hopefully, this barrel would help block out the force of the hit at least by a little. I was desperate.

When the elevator came to a abrupt stop, I was airborne for a second before slammed back down. I rubbed a bruise forming on the top of my head from the fall, but stayed on the ground. I wasn't sure why or where this elevator had stopped, so patiently remaining calm was my best option.

The rattling of metal screws grinding on metal jerked my head upwards, just like I had done before. Suddenly, the pitch black was filled with obnoxious bright light, instantly blinding me. I screwed my eyes shut while tilting them towards the floor where darkness lay beneath. No matter how hard I looked, I couldn't see the ground. How far up did I go?

"It's a girl," a British voice said above me. Subconsciously, I gasped at the familiarity of the sound. But that was even more strange than where I was- which I still had no idea about. I couldn't remember how I got here, who put me here or even where I came from, but that voice had been heard before.

Another minute went by until my eyes adjusted to the newfound light. My eyes searched the elevator, looking for the boy who spoke, and I gasped again when I found him.

He was a tall, scrawny boy with messy blond hair, that looked like it had hands running through all day. In this angle, a thin layer of light curled around his body, giving him the effect that he was glowing. I couldn't make out the face, but the shape of the boy was still weirdly familiar.

"Are you alright, love?" The boy asked crouching beside me. Once I sat up, I gasped for the third and final time. That face- the brown eyes, thick like syrup, and the thin pink lips I knew I had kissed once before. I knew it.

"Newt." The name came out in a breath before my mind even thought of it. My mouth knew the word before my mind did. It was his name.

His eyes widened in shock but soon turned to one of excitement. "(Y/N)." That word wasn't familiar to me like the first one. This one sounded wrong and left a bad taste in my mouth. All in all, I knew it was my name, but it just didn't feel right. Like someone had given it to me as a replacement for another. But I still felt weak at the way his voice said it.
