Kokoriki x guard!reader

Not a request, sorry, I just needed to write something for Koko since he's one of my favorites and I haven't seen any koko x reader around yet.

You were on your way to exit building 5 and go to your apartment; you're done with work for today. But you stopped in your tracks when you spotted a certain pink-haired guy sleeping at his desk.

You walked closer, the smile on your face widening as you watched him. You couldn't resist whispering "Aww", because he looked quite cute like this.

Wait-- he always looks this cute.

Even if he looks adorable sleeping like that, it's not really a comfortable position he's in, so you put a hand on his shoulder to shake him.

"Koko, wake up, it's time to go home..."

You gave up on shaking him awake when it appeared to be ineffective; he's in such a deep sleep. However, you didn't want to leave him here like this.

And then a good idea came to mind. You'd take him to the night duty room, where guards can sleep after a night shift.

After having opened the door to said room, you carefully picked Koko up bridal style and carried him into the room, kicking the door shut behind you and putting him down on one of the beds.

You sat next to him, looking at his sleeping form, your fingers lightly stroking through his hair as you leaned closer to him. But you stopped just in time when you realized what you were doing, rapidly sitting back up, turning your back to him and face-palming yourself.

"What am I thinking?! I can't just kiss him! What if he wakes up? I better get out of here before I really do something stupid..."

You took one last look at the sleeping cutie before getting up to leave.

Though, much to your surprise, you felt two arms around your middle, and let out a little squeek when you were pulled onto the bed. Koko had succesfully captured you in a hug while still asleep, and knowing how strong he is, you feared that you'd be stuck here for the rest of the night.

Well... 'feared'? Not exactly. You didn't mind this at all. In fact, you loved being so close to him for possibly a whole night.

Feeling his grip around you loosen a bit, you took your chance to turn around to face him. Wrapping your arms around him, you gave him a soft kiss on the forehead before hugging him tightly and soon falling asleep as well.

-next morning-

You were woken up by someone's yelling, followed by a loud thud and some cursing.

Looking over at where the sound came from, your eyes met those of Koko, who had fallen off the bed.

"Morning..." You whispered with a smile.

"What... what are we doing in the night duty room? Why were we sleeping in a bed together?!" Holding his head in his hands, he tried to remember what had happened last night and how he'd gotten here, but he had no idea.

"You fell asleep at your desk, so I took you to this room to let you sleep in a bed instead, but when I wanted to leave, you hugged me... and you're pretty damn strong, so I had no choice but to sleep next to you." You explained, watching Koko get up from the floor and sitting on the bed.

"Did I really do that?"

"Yes you did! I didn't mind though, in fact..." You paused to stand up and adjusted your clothes, trying to fix your hair a little as well.

"In fact what?" Koko impatiently asked.

"In fact..." Standing next to him, you leaned in and whispered; "I loved it."

With a smile, you quickly kissed him on the cheek and walked to the door.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Come, another day of work has already started!"

"I'll... be there in a sec."

When the door closed, Koko grabbed a pillow and buried his red face in it. He'd been blushing the whole time since he woke up and figured you two slept together. He couldn't quite believe it actually happened, it was something he only dared to dream of.

And on the other side of the door, you were already thinking of ways to make it happen again.
