Okay so I accidentally started writing this one in a different way than my other one-shots, but I like how it turned out.

(n/o/c) = number of choice

"So these are for (y/n)?" Rokuriki asked his supervisor, looking down at the football magazines the other just pushed into his hands.
"For number (n/o/c), yes. Seriously why do you call her by her name instead of her number? You don't do that with any other inmates. Do you like her or something?"
Even though Samon had found out about Roku's little crush on the only female inmate a while ago, he was still pretending to be clueless.
"No, of course not. I just consider her my friend, that's all."
He quickly left to deliver the requested items, not wanting to have to answer more of those questions.

"(y/n), I got something for you!"
The girl in the cell jumped up and ran to the door, to receive the items she asked for as Rokuriki handed them to her through the cell bars.
"Thanks, you're the best!" She smiled at him before sitting down to read one of the magazines.

After a few minutes, (y/n) realized that the guard was still standing by the door, watching over her. Their eyes met for a moment, and the girl raised one of her new magazines up.
"Do you wanna read with me?"
Roku, relieved that he didn't have to ask such a thing himself, nod and opened the door to join (y/n). They both got into a comfortable way of sitting, their legs lightly touching which made the guard's heart beat a little faster. He wasn't used to touching his crush, the friendship they have mostly consists of talking, separated by the cell bars.

They both read in silence for a good twenty minutes, when a question suddenly came to Roku's mind.
"so... I'm guessing you like football?" He mentally face palmed himself right after. Such a dumb thing to ask while she's reading a football magazine she asked for.
"Oh, yeah I do. I never brought it up in any of our conversations because... I'm still kinda sad about the fact that I'm unable to play anymore..." She tightened the grip on the paper in her hands, a sad expression taking the place of her usual happy one.
"You used to play as well?" Roku asked the girl next to him, "Why didn't you tell me? We could play together!"
(y/n)'s eyes widened at the idea of playing her favorite sport together with the guard she likes so much.
"I'd love to! Can we do it right now?" Impatient for an answer, she jumped up from her spot on the floor, helping the other up as well.
"Sure, (y/n)."

Roku went to look for his supervisor to ask for permission, (y/n) holding onto his arm. When he found him, he didn't even have to ask anything; Samon had already given him a nod in response to the question he knew was about to come. He wanted this to happen, knowing of the similar interest of the two as well as their crush on each other.

Somebody has to bring them closer, despite one being a guard and the other an inmate.

The two spent quite some time outside playing football together, and decided to head back when both were tired and needed some rest.

"Say, can we play again tomorrow?" (y/n) asked on their way to her cell.
"Of course! We can play every day if you'd like."
Looking over at the girl, Roku could see tears forming in her eyes.
"Hey, everything okay?" He stopped her from walking, standing before her and putting his hands on her shoulders.
"Yeah..." (y/n) slowly looked up at him, "I'm just... so happy!"

With tears of joy rolling down her face, she did a step closer and wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug.

"You really are my favorite guard!"

Roku hugged her back, feeling as if he were dreaming right now. He never thought this would happen, even though he and (y/n) were good friends already, and having had many chances to hug like this. He should go and thank Samon for letting him be the one to bring (y/n) the magazines.

(y/n) couldn't be happier, finally hugging the guard she'd fallen in love with the moment she first saw him. And who knows what more could happen between the two.
