This one started out as a Tsukumo x reader, but then I brought Seitarou into it and it turned into this. Oh well hope y'all like it~

For the third time this week, you had gotten into a fight with your two other cellmates. It wasn't your fault. They just liked to pick on you because you were the shortest and weakest of the three. It went from teasing, to bullying, and ended in a fight. Every. Damn. Time. And you were so sick of it.

You were currently at the infirmary. You had multiple wounds and had been unconscious for a little while. Sighing, you stared at the white ceiling.
'When will it stop? When will they finally just leave me alone? What did I do to deserve this...' You felt a tear rolling down your face.
'If only there was something I could do about it...'
Just then, you heard someone walk in. You sat up to see who it was.
"(y/n)? I heard what happened. Are you alright?" It appeared to be a worried Seitarou, who took a seat in the chair next to the bed you were sitting on.
"I'm okay..." You looked down and held the blanket tightly, as if it would help to keep you from crying. You didn't want him to worry even more. Seitarou was the only person you liked in this place. You two were good friends, which is why he calls you by your name instead of your number.
"Are you sure? You don't seem okay..."
"...No, I'm not okay," You looked up at him, "This keeps happening, and I don't know what to do about it. Can't you do something?"
With a hopeful look in your eyes, you grabbed Seitarou's hands and held them tightly.
"Please, Seitarou, get me out of that cell! I'm begging you!"
There's no way you would go back there. Absolutely not. Anything but that. "I... might have an idea that you'll like." He said with a smile.
"What is it?"
"I could try and get you switched to another cell."
Did you hear that right? Another cell?
"R-Really...?"
"Yes!"
You couldn't believe it. You would go to another cell! Well, if he could get you switched, that is.
"I'll go talk to the supervisor about it. Stay here, okay?" Seitarou got up and left the room.

Around ten minutes later, he returned with some good news.
"Well, (y/n), looks like you'll get a new cell!" Seitarou told you, sitting down on your bed.
You couldn't help but smile like crazy, with some tears of joy forming in your eyes. You hugged your friend, whispering a million thank you's into his ear. Ever since you were put in that awful cell two months ago, you had wanted to get out of there. And now you were finally going to another cell.
"Oh, before I forget to mention it, you will share your cell with one other inmate. But don't worry, he's a nice person and I'm sure you two will get along."
"That's fine. Any cellmate is fine as long as it's not one of those two..." You said, referring to the cellmates who beat you into the infirmary.

You were now on your way to your new cell. Holding onto Seitarou's arm, you thought of what your new cellmate would be like. He said it was only one guy, so it wasn't gonna be those four jail breakers you heard so much about. You were curious, but also a bit scared.

"Here it is," Seitarou said, stopping before a cell door and opening it, "Your new cellmate is out training with Yamato right now, but he'll be back soon. I'll stay here with you until then."
"Thank you..."
You went into the cell and put down your bag. You decided to read a book 'til it was time to meet your new cellmate.

"(y/n), he's back from his training so I'll leave now, okay?" Your favorite guard said, making you look up from your book.
"Wait, no, don't leave! What if something happens? What if we don't get along?" You sprinted to the door, not wanting to be left behind with someone who was a complete stranger to you.
"Don't worry, it will be okay. No need to panic."
"But Seitarou..." You pouted, "I'm not good with these kinda situations. Please stay a few minutes..."
"...Alright, I'll stay." He smiled and opened the door for the other inmate of this cell.
You fiddled with your shirt as you waited for him to come in and show himself. He could be anyone, you didn't know what to expect.

And you were quite surprised when it turned out to be the pink-haired ninja you'd seen around a few times.
You slowly walked up to him, avoiding eye contact.
"I-I'm (y/n)..." You held out your hand to him.
"(y/n), hmm? Nice to meet you, I'm Tsukumo."
You two shook hands, and you nod to Seitarou to let him know it was okay for him to leave. You then went to sit in the corner and continued reading your book.

You sat there in silence, but couldn't quite focus on your book. You peeked over it to see what Tsukumo was doing. From the looks of it, your guess was that he was practicing ninja moves. When he noticed you watching him, you quickly looked in your book, pretending to not have been watching at all.

"What are you reading?"
You didn't hear or see him coming, but somehow Tsukumo was suddenly standing next to you.
"Oh, just a book..." You held it up so he could read the back of it, to know what it was about.
"Interesting story... So you like reading?"
"I guess so... It's my only hobby."
"Why don't you try training with me sometime? I'm sure it will be fun."
You looked up at him, and then back to your book, as looking people in the eyes was still something you felt a bit uncomfortable about.
"Sure. I can try it..."
"Alright then."
The next moment, you felt his hand on your head. You screamed and crawled back as fast as you could. A confused ninja looked down at you.
"(y/n)? What's the matter?"
"You were going to hit me!"
"What? Me, hit you?" Tsukumo kneeled down before you at a one-meter-distance, "No, I wasn't going to hit you."
"Yes you were! You were going to hit me on the head!"
"I just wanted to pat you, not hit you! I would never do such a thing!"
You realized that you panicked about nothing, and covered your face with your hands.
"S-Sorry... My old cellmates always hit me. That's why I thought you were going to do it too. I'm really sorry..."
"I see..." Tsukumo moved a bit closer to you and put a hand on your shoulder, "You don't have to be afraid of me doing such things. I promise I'll never hit you or anything."
You put your hands down to reveal your face.
"Really?"
"Yes, really. Don't worry, you're safe here. And I'll protect you from your old cellmates if they come to you, okay?"
You stared at him in shock.
'I'm... safe here? He'll protect me?'
A big smile spread across your face and you literally jumped into his arms for a hug.

You couldn't wish for a better cellmate!
