#62: How to; Save up money

We have all tried to save up for that really cute, but expensive dress or an iPhone or just something that we really want. Unfortunatly it seems impossible, especially when you see a sign that says sale on it. We end up wasting all our money instead of saving it, it's really hard to do so and I myself agree. I mean what's the point when you can just take money from your parents?

Okay, if your parents refuse to let you steal your money or you're just terrible at convincing your parents then you need to learn how to do the impossible. Which is to save up money even if you see a pair of heels that never go on sale and they're the last pair and they're just some how your size - you need to say no. If you can do that, god bless your soul.

But, I have come up with a couple of tips to help you save up some cash for those really cute pair of shoes that you're dying for. Here are 5 tips to help you as a teen girrl to save up money!

1. Change Jar - This idea may seem rather stupid now, but slowly when your jar is filled it won't seem so. So all you need is a glass jar, okay just a jar you can see through. You know when you spend money at the canteen and are left with a dollar or two change?

Instead of buying something more, go home and put it into your change jar. Soon enough; probably within 6 - 12 months your jar will be filled with money. Which you can use to spend on something better!

2. Don't need it? Don't buy it! - If you have I don't know around 50 pairs of shoes, which should be enough for most the outfits you have now and you go shopping and see these really cute shoes that would look great sitting in your shoe shelf at home.

I mean you really want them, but you don't need them. Who's going to wear the other 50 shoes you have sitting there at home? So before you buy anything just ask yourself if you really need it.

3. Why buy when you can borrow? - You have to read that book your friend was reading yesterday because apparently it's just amazzzinng! Instead of buying the book to read it, just borrow it from your friend or even better from the library.

Your best friend and you are the same size? You want her to buy the shoes you saw her wearing the other day, you can just borrow the shoes from her. She's your bestfriend I don't think she'll mind.

4. Stay away from the Shopping Center! - You're bored or an extreme shopoholic, then just stay away from the shops. Stay in and watch a movie instead, your friends want to go shopping? Try to refuse and make other suggestions.Going shopping is how you'll end up spending money. If you're planing on not buying things; just don't go shopping.

5. Leave your money at home by 'accident' - If you just can't stay away from the shops and just have to go shopping. Then just leave your money at home on purpose, but when you get there remind yourself you don't have money to buy what ever it is you're holding.

If your shopping with your parents then tell them you forgot your money at home and tell them to buy what you want. Just make some cute faces or cry idk and if that fails then just beg them, you know.
