#48: How to; Dress your unique body shape correctly

One of the things that seriously do my head in is when you see your favourite celebrity wearing the most cutest jeans ever, and when you buy jeans that are similar to theirs, it looks like a blind hobo picked out your outfit. The jeans that you were wearing bunches up at the bottom, dragging across the floor, not because the size was big but because your 5"2. Short girl problems *sigh*. But in all seriousness, everyone comes in different shapes and sizes, so there's no need to panick if your thighs touch together, or whether your boobs are the size of a peach or a grape, everyone's different. In this tutorial, I will be telling you how to find your body shape and how to dress it.

Step 1- Find your body shape

As I mentioned it earlier, we're all unique, and that isn't something to be ashamed of. Our body types (females) are usually categorized into five different shapes. Being 'the rectangle', 'the pear',' the apple', 'the strawberry' and lastly 'the hourglass'. To spare you the agony of of reading my endless blabbering on how to distinguish different body shapes, the picture will be towards your right. The picture is pretty straightforward so it's not comlicating at all. But for those of you who are reading this on your phone/iPod/tablet/iPad/chicken/tacos (sorry I got hungry) the link will be right here >>>> http://www.hellomagazine.com/imagenes//healthandbeauty/health-and-fitness/201206268442/m-s-styling-advice/0-40-829/shapes-2-z.jpg  <<<<

Step 2- Dressing your body shape

Disclamier: If you didn't see the photo linked above, or towards the right, none of the bullshit I'm about to say will make sense to you-just saying. And also I'm not forcing you to wear your clothes differently to the way that you already do-I think you're fine the way you are. But as I was saying, this is just a few ways to wear clothes that actually flatter your body shape the best. :P

The rectangle:

Do- Wear a coat or dress that sinches in at the waist to give you the illusion of curves. If you have a small bust you can also get away with high neck tops.

Don't- Wear low rise jeans or pants that make your torso look longer. Stick with dresses that have more shape in them.

The pear:

Do- Wear bright coloured tops with large collars or stunning statement necklaces to balance out the attention that will be drawn to your curvy bottom half.

Don't- Wear tube, fishtail or pencil skirts or any tight fitting skirt as it will only emphasize your hips and behind (not necessarily in the most flattering way), but hey if that's the way you wan't to roll-then go with it!

The apple:

Do- Wear longer length tops with a plunging neckline (a low neckline)

Don't-  Wear short, boxy jackets or any pleated/ruffly skirts.

The strawberry:

Do- Wear fuller skirts and wide leg trousers will balance out your body beautifully.

Don't- Wear shoulder pads or really tight pants.

The hourglass:

Do- wear bodycon dresses/skirts (basically really tight dresses/skirts that feel like second skin), belts that you can fit perfectly around that perf waist of yours and flared/wide-legged jeans will work wonders!

Don't- Wear shapelss baggy jumpers that will just swallow your figure up-unless you add that magic belt of course.

A/N: Hopefully this was somewhat helpful to you girlies out there-vote if it was or wasn't! don't forget to comment down below which body shape you have-I'd love to know! ( I mean that in the most non-paedophilic way possible). Also I'd love it if you gave this account a quick follow and feel free to say hi to me or the other girls on our personal accounts, which will be listed below.

Until next time,
