When He Suprises You- Lloyd

I sat on my bed, looking out the window with a sorrow expression on my face. I missed my aunt and her house and everything. I didn't want to be at the monastery, it was too different.

BF/N called Bradley Hines for me a week ago, and I was still arguing with her about it. "I said no!" I shouted into the phone, walking back up to the window and watching the guys train outside.

"But Y/N, this is a once in a lifetime chance!"

"I'm done discussing this! I'm failing all of my classes and I don't feel good, alright?! Leave me alone for a while!"

"The tryout is in thirty minutes, Y/N."

"I am not going! I don't even want to play volleyball anymore! That's what split my whole family up in the first place!"

I shut my phone off and threw it onto my bed, I screamed into my hands as the door flew open. I whipped around and saw Lloyd standing there. Crap.

I stuttered on my words and stepped backwards, surprised at his entry. "I- I'm sorry, you- you weren't supposed to hear that." I nervously told him.

"Y/N, you didn't mention any of this."

"It wasn't important, just... um... I have somewhere to be, please excuse me."

I shoved through the door, grabbing my volleyball bag on the way out, leaving Lloyd in the dust.

I ran to the training deck to find Cole and I watched him fight Kai for about thirty seconds until I interrupted. "Where's my knee brace?" I rushed out, in a hurry.

"Um, I don't know!" he complained, stopping the fight.

"I have a tryout in twenty minutes! I can't go limping!"

"I think Zane washed it." Jay spoke up. "I put it with Kai's laundry, I thought it was his." Zane admitted.

I groaned, "Kai?"

"I thought it was in my room." he shrugged.

"I'm about to spike a ball at someone!" I angrily shouted.

"Kai? Why is there a knee brace mixed in with my suit?" Nya wandered, walking onto the deck holding the brace.

My eyes lit up and I grabbed it out of her hand, "Thanks Nya! Love you! Gotta run! See you later!" I called out while hopping on my left leg and pulling up my knee brace on my right leg.

"Where are you going?" everyone shouted.

"I have a very important tryout with Bradley Hines!"

"Do you need a ride?" Cole offered.

"On a dragon?" I scoffed, opening the door to the dojo to leave. "No thanks. If I'm not back by ten I'll stay at Kelly's!"

"You have school tomorrow!" Cole added.

"I'm failing anyways!" I sang, running out the door.

I needed to talk with Lloyd later, we were both surprised today. In negative ways.
