I gently closed my navy blue metal locker and pulled my white and pink floral backpack strap down to make it tighter.

I walked into the bathroom to check my appearance. My mother and I were having dinner out tonight.

I was wearing white skinny jeans with a very light sky blue short sleeve shirt with a lace trim at the end. The shirt stopped at my hips.

My H/C hair was in waves and resting on my shoulder. I was wearing white converse and white pearl earrings.

Once I was satisfied, I walked out of the front doors of Fairmont HighSchool.

I held my backpack straps in my hands and walked down the hill and into Ninjago City where I was meeting Mother.

"Y/N?" someone asked.

I rotated my shoulders and head to see Zane behind me. I smiled and faced him.

"Hey Zane, quite a surprise." I added.

"My brothers have been talking to me, as to talk to you, may we?" he gestured towards the bench.

"Sure." I sat down and set my bag to my left. Zane sat on my right.

"I think I may like a girl." he said, looking into my eyes. My heart dropped but the smile I kept on my face was flawless. "What's she like?" I asked him.

"Well, she has beautiful H/C hair and a gorgeous smile. She's very smart too."

"She sounds great."

"Oh she is, but how do I tell her I like her?"

"Hm, I think you just need to tell her. Be forward."

Zane pondered over it a moment before smiling, "I like you, Y/N."

Butterflies filled my stomach and I instantly knew I felt the same way, I have a crush on Zane. "I like you too, Zane."
