A/N
BF/N is your best friend.
(Y/N) is your name
(L/N) is your last name
(H/C) means hair colorI walked through various hallways following one woman in a white coat and black slacks. My phone buzzed and I tried to text while walking. Which I easily became a pro with.
(BF/N)- Are you in?
You- Yeah. They just brought me in for x-rays. I'll talk to you soon.
(BF/N)- Text me as soon as possible with news.
I powered down my phone just as the doctor opened the door. I stepped in to see a large machine and table. I carefully hopped onto the table and sat waiting for instructions.
The doctor had unstrapped my thick black boot. She lifted my leg on the table and the machine moved over and stopped to scan different areas on my foot.
"I will be back with results." the kind lady said before she shut the door. I powered back on my phone and stared at the screen that was switching colors to indicate it was loading.
The lock screen of one of my dance photos finally appeared and I typed in my password. I noticed I had two missed calls from (BF/N) and one text from Cole. I ignored the calls but opened my messenger app.
Cole- Just wanted to see how you are doing with the boot.
I smiled a bit. Which is odd. I never smile for dudes.
My fingers began to type and as I was about to press send the door opened and the doctor was back. I pressed the off button and shoved my phone into my black skinny jeans back pocket. I completely forgot about the message.
"Your foot has healed faster then expected and you are able to dance again."
I slightly smiled and slid off the cold table. I walked to the door and pushed it open.
I turned to face the doctor with a tiny smile on my face. "Thanks." I acknowledged.
She smiled and nodded at me.
I calmly walked away from the offices. I pulled my phone out my pocket and opened my call application. I knew just who to call.
"This is Lou." the voice said.
"Mr. Brookstone? I've been thinking about what you said. I would really like to be a trained soloist like you offered."
"That's fantastic Ms. Lane. I'll see you after your school hours tomorrow."
"Thank you. Goodbye."
"Bye."
I hung up and contained my excitment. I'm awful at expressing emotion so I keep it pint sized.
I already called it quits with Katie. She was getting on my nerve telling me I was irresponsible and would never be leader of the team again because I broke my foot. You know what? She can break her spine for all I care because I taught her every move she knows. And I'll beat her any day, any time since THE Lou Brookstone is my coach.
I sold my apartment about three days ago because no matter how hard I try, I am always late to pay my rent. And between a full schedule of dance and school, I don't have time for a job. But my best friend is letting me live with her and her parents. So I have a home and food. It's all good.
Since it's Tuesday, I went to the doctor's directly after school. I go to Laketon Arts. All types of art prodigy attend. Visual Arts, studio arts, etc.
At Laketon, your still required all core classes like mathematics, science, language arts and history. But since there is eight periods, I have two dance rehearsals a day, one study hall and I have an extra tumbling class.
