Jade's POV.
The Maze was big, and dark, and smelly, and confusing. I had no clue where Thomas was taking me, or where we were supposed to be going. I just wanted to find a way out of this place, but as we journeyed further into the labyrinth I began to understand why these guys had little (if any) hope at finding a way home.
"Keep an eye out for Minho." Thomas told me. Well that came from nowhere?
"Why what?" I asked. We kept running though and I was starting to get tired.
"He left as soon as to go and try to find Hannah. She came in here the second the doors opened and she was supposed to wait for Minho."
"I thought she'd been in here a few times before?"
"Yeah, alone. And she's alone again. Minho was meant to go round with her, looking for a way out and I the same with you but something must've happened this morning to make her want to rush in so sudden." I didn't really understand what Thomas was telling me,mall it sounded like was that Hannah was in trouble. Again. I followed him round until we reached a long corridor that went only in the right direction for at least four miles.
"Great..." I moaned.
"Shuck, I think we went the wrong way." Thomas said, sounding very annoyed.
"Well what do we do?" I asked.
"Find out." He ran ahed down the corridor and I had no choice to follow him because I'd obviously get lost the moment he was out of sight. This was gonna be a looooong day.
Hannah's POV.
When I heard Minho reply to my calls I didn't move a muscle. I wanted him to find me, I felt so lost. I could hear footsteps but they weren't close. They echoed through the big, gloomy walls of this hell hole. Because of the size of the area I was in, Minho could never have missed me so I decided to sit on the floor and give into my fatigue. I had been running for longer than I originally thought. It had reached about midday now and I realised how fast each day went by here in The Glade. I didn't recall anything like this happening before all this? It had been at least half an hour since I last heard Minho's voice and the sun was scorching my body. It was a very hot day and I had a thick top on. If I didn't sort myself out soon then I was going to become a victim of heat stroke. I slid my bag off my back and checked it for water. None. Great. I dug deeper and looked for any source of food. Apples? No. Bananas? No. Pears? No! Nothing I could eat. I had no way of getting my thirst under control.
"Shucking brilliant!" I shouted, hearing my own voice echo through the walls. I lay down in the beating sun and shut my eyes. I was being cooked alive. I decided to take my top off since that was my only way of survival. Luckily, I'd chosen to wear shorts that morning. I lay there in the hot, rocky floor sweating through my bra. Once again, I said to myself, "Hannah, today will be your funeral." I was almost certain. Until my hope was brought back. I felt a cold liquid trickle over my face. I opened my dry and sticky eyes to see Minho towering over me holding a bottle of cold water. "That's nice." I breathed.
"Get up, we have to go." He said sternly. I stood up and remembered I didn't have my top on. I quickly grabbed it and threw it on. Minho didn't look at me much after that, I could tell it was a bit awkward. We went down one of the long corridors that connected to section 7 when we came across another big room. But this one was full of... Blades?
