"Grovyle!"
The Wood Gecko Pokémon paused, opening one of his golden eyes. His ears twitched slightly as he heard the calls. He bit down on the twig, glancing down at the ground. A (h/c) haired female came into his field of vision. She glanced side to side, her eyebrows furrowed in concern. She cupped the side of her mouth, yelling.
"Grovyle! Where are you?" The female asked, frowning. The emerald haired male sighed softly. He sat up straight, getting up from the tree trunk. He swung both his legs on one side of the tree branch. He fell backwards, letting his legs hold him onto the branch. He became face-to-face with the Trainer. She let out a yelp, falling on her backside. She moaned softly, rubbing her backside. Grovyle jumped down from the tree, lending out a hand towards the female. She took it, pouting slightly. "Geez, you scared me!"
"Sorry," Grovyle apologized, remaining unsympathetic, causing the female to pout. He shrugged a little. "What is it that you need, [Name]?"
"Oh! I made lunch~!" [Name] chirped, showing the male the picnic basket in her hands. She grinned, tilting her head slightly. "I made sandwiches! So, let's share, okay?"
"Thanks," Grovyle said. [Name] nodded, and sat down, patting the spot beside her for the male. The former Pokémon sat down while [Name] opened the basket. She pulled out two sandwiches, and handed one to Grovyle. The two dug in, eating in silence, only chatting every so often. [Name] swallowed the remains of her sandwich, sneaking a glimpse of her companion, who shoved the rest of his food into his mouth. [Name] snickered, noticing crumbs leftover on his lips. "What?"
"You have crumbs all on you face," [Name] stated, pointing to his face. Grovyle began wiping his face. The Trainer giggled, covering her mouth. "Here, I'll get it,"
[Name] leaned over, gently kissing his lips. Grovyle immediately kissed back, resting a hand on the back of her head. His fingers played with her (h/c) locks of hair, relishing the feeling of their lips melding together. They pulled away, their eyes brightening with adoration. [Name] smiled, leaning her head on his shoulder. Grovyle smirked slightly, and leant his head against hers.
