It was a cold morning in Colorado.
It was always cold.
You sighed and tightened the F/C scarf around your neck, trying to warm yourself up. The attempt failed as you felt your nose stiffen before going numb.
You saw your friend Kyle tread along the snowy sidewalk, standing next to the bus stop's sign. He looked around, tapping you on the shoulder.
"Have you seen Stan?" He asked, pulling a poster from his backpack.
"No, he's out sick. Cool poster." You said, pointing to the rolled up piece of paper.
"Thanks." The red head unrolled the poster, revealing a picture of two Canadians, one blonde and the other black haired.
"Terrance and Phillip?!" You recognized the pair, trying to contain your excitement.
"Yeah. You can have it, if you want..."
"Thank you!" Kyle backed up as you grabbed him, pulling the young boy into a tight hug.
"It's no big deal." He blushed, scratching the back of his neck.
You smiled and gave him a small kiss on the cheek. "It means a lot to me."
The mustard yellow bus pulled up, a crabby woman yelling at you to get on.
Kyle's face turned redder than his hair as he nervously reached for your hand, the two of you boarding the bus.
