"K-Kenny?" Stan whispered, hesitantly stepping into the room.
"Mph?" The small boy turned over, staring at his friend in disbelief.
"I'm here dude." He watched the raven extend a hand, grabbing his. "I'm here."
"Mphh, mph mpph mph mph mph."
(Stan, I'm really glad you came)
"Me too."
Kenny hugged his teddy bear tightly. "Mph mphhh mph mphh mph mphhh."
(I wanted to tell you something)
"What is it?" Stan ran a hand through his hair, smiling weakly.
"Mph mph mph..."
(I like you...)
"Seriously?"
"Mph mph mphh?"
(Are you mad?)
"No, of course not. I like you too." Stan leaned over, kissing his friend's forehead.
Kenny blushed. Please, please make this work, he pleaded.
His breaths became shortened, quickly running out. The beeping stopped, stretching the line on the monitor into a flat horizon.
"Kenny? KENNY?!" The male's blue eyes teared up, realizing his best friend was dead.
He confessed his love to Stan. His dying wish, and he had done it. Never in Kenny's life had he mustered up the courage to do so. But now...
Kenny McCormick could rest in peace.
