The town seem like a perfect place for a former valedictorian and law-abiding citizen like her. Only problem is: it's the only city that makes rock n' roll illegal in all forms and anyone caught playing or performing it will be arrested. She doesn't seem to mind it much, until she runs into the leader of the Palaye Royale gang, Remington Leith. The first time she meets him, she wants nothing to do with him, then finds herself drawn toward him and his electrifying world of rock n' roll. That way people would often not bother to steal his bag at least, but Keith had learned not to grow attached to things. After all, being homeless wasn't the warmest life to live.
