"Love, come look at this," your boyfriend's voice called from the kitchen. You looked up from your book and put it down on the coffee table before removing the cosy blanket from your legs. You stood up and walked over to the kitchen where you found Loki staring out the window over the kitchen sink.

"What's wrong, Lokes?" you asked, standing beside him. His eyes didn't leave the outside world that was slowly being covered by white flurries of snow. "Ah, I see you've met the snow." You smiled, wrapping an arm around him. "Didn't they have that on Asgard?"

He shook his head. "It was about 70 degrees there all year long," he answered softly. "What did you call this? Snow?"

"Yeah." You nodded.

"What is it?" he asked.

"It's frozen water that forms into really tiny snowflakes, just like the ones we put in the tree," you explained while he continued looking at the snow with mesmerization in his eyes. "I read there is a Christmas Fair in town. Wanna go with me?" you asked.

It was Loki's first Holiday season on Earth. You had been dating for about seven months and you were beyond excited to show him all of Earth's Christmas traditions and customs. He had been baffled by the Mistletoe story after Natasha had put one up in the Avengers Compound and you and Loki had been forced to kiss, after which you explained the tradition to him. He thought it was ridiculous. Also, Rudolph became his new nickname, thanks to Tony.

He nodded. "I'd love that. Although, I've never been to a fair before," he told you, lowering his eyes and frowning slightly.

"Loki," you said and he looked up. "I'd be honoured to show you the Earthly way of spending Christmas," you grinned excitedly, making him laugh.

Just fifteen minutes later, the two of you were strolling over the fair hand in hand.

"And that's what we call a shooting range," you said, pointing at the booth ahead of you.

"What do you do there?" he frowned.

"Let me show you." You dragged him to the booth.

"Good afternoon, you two. Want to try a round? You get a prize with just five points," the elderly man behind the counter excitedly said.

"That'd be great. How much?" you asked, drawing your wallet from your pocket.

"For you, my dear, the first three rounds are free." He smiled kindly.

You smiled back. "That's really generous of you, sir. Thank you."

He nodded before handing you the large gun. You placed it in Loki's hands and he stared at it without moving. You giggled before helping him aim the gun at the target. "You just squeeze the trigger when you think you're locked on the target," you told him.

He closed one eye and pulled the trigger. The fake bullet wasn't even close to hitting the target. You suppressed a giggle and he pouted. "It's fine, you've got two more tries," you told him, placing your hands over his while you aimed the barrel of the gun. "Okay, shoot," you muttered and he pulled the trigger. The bullet hit the target that rewarded you four points. "You did it, Lokes!" you excitedly exclaimed.

"But we needed five points, didn't we?" Loki asked. Before you could answer him, he aimed the gun and hit the teeny-tiny target of ten points.

"Loki!" you exclaimed, your jaw dropping.

"Congratulations, that leaves you with fourteen points. You can choose something from the top shelf," the man told you with a kind and amazed smile.

You turned to Loki and he motioned to the shelf filled with goodies. "Go ahead, love," he told you and you squealed before pointing at the brown teddy bear. The man handed it to you and you hugged it close.

"Thank you, Loki," you hummed contently, kissing his cheek.

"You're welcome." He smiled lovingly, wrapping an arm around your shoulders as you continued your stroll down the fair. A comfortable silence hung between the two of you as you both took in the Christmas lights around you.

"What's that smell?" Loki asked, breaking the silence.

You inhaled deeply before smiling as your eye fell on the stand ahead of you. "That's cotton candy," you answered.

"Cotton candy?" Loki asked with a slight frown.

"Yeah, here, let me show you." You took him to the stand and ordered two medium-sized portions of cotton candy. You handed one to Loki and he looked at it for a second. "Just take a bit and stuff it in your mouth. Here." You plucked a small piece from his cotton candy and put it in his mouth. He looked puzzled for a second before he smiled.

"That's nice. What's it made of?" he asked.

"That, my love, it one hundred per cent sugar for you," you grinned.

"It's good," he said, taking some more. You giggled, hooking your arm through his as you went to the Ferris Wheel.

After riding the Ferris Wheel, you and Loki decided to head home, and he couldn't stop bouncing around. "Love, will you calm down?" You laughed while he dragged you over the sidewalk.

"I can't, it's like all my senses are heightened. What did that cotton candy do to me?" he asked, making you laugh.

You stopped and pulled him close by the collar of his coat. "I think you have a sugar rush, Lokes," you chimed amusedly before kissing him.
