*Baby, It's Cold Outside*
"You're lucky that my parents let me go on Christmas day to spend some time with you," You hummed as you leaned into your boyfriend's side.
He chuckled. "Yeah, I know how persuasive your dad can be."
The two of you were sitting on Mark's couch, staring into the fire that was burning in the fireplace. You had just had a nice dinner that Mark had prepared for you. "Let's dance," He said and got up from the couch. He started a playlist and held out his hand.
You gratefully took it in yours and he pulled you from the couch. You wrapped your arms around his neck as he placed his hands on your lower back. You slowly swayed to the music as you gazed into each other's eyes without having to say anything.
"You do know I'll have to go home soon, right?" You said softly.
"Do you? Can't you just spend the night here?" He whined.
"You know my dad will never be okay with that," You replied.
"Can't you call him and say I'll bring you back tomorrow morning?" He asked. You sent him a glare.
"I can't stay, hun," You smiled sadly.
"But it's snowing," He said, motioning to the window. You glanced outside and indeed, thick snowflakes were falling from the sky.
"And I don't have a car. I'll have to call my dad," You sighed.
"My car is undergoing maintenance or else I would have driven you home," Mark said.
You took your phone from your purse, but Mark stopped you mid-action. "What if we wait another two or three hours before we call your dad?" He grinned.
"He'll start worrying and he knows where I am so he'll come looking for me. And not to forget, my mother. She'll drag my ass out of here as soon as she figures out I am not home yet," You said, already dialing your dad's number.
"Y/N, hold on. You've still got more than half an hour until you have to be home so let's just enjoy these last moments together." He grabbed your phone from your hands and tossed it on the couch. He took both of your hands in his and rubbed them together in an attempt to warm them up.
"Your hands are freezing," He noted.
"I know, they're always cold in the winter," You sighed. Your phone dinged, signaling you had received a message.
Hi honey, I think it's smart to let you spend the night at Mark's place. A snowstorm is on its way.
X Dad
"Yes!" You cheered, startling Mark.
"What happened?" He asked perplexedly.
"My dad's letting me spend the night here. There's a snowstorm coming," You grinned.
"No way!" Mark exclaimed.
"Yes way!" You responded.
"I'll get some sweaters, you start preparing hot chocolate." Before you could object, he had run off. You rolled your eyes at your dork and strutted to the kitchen. You grabbed the chocolate milk from the refrigerator and poured it in a pot which you placed on the stove and started heating it up.
You found two adorable mugs in the cabinet in which you poured the hot chocolate. You sprayed whipped cream on top and as a final touch, some mini marshmallows.
Mark came barging into the living room again and threw a cozy sweater your way. You removed the jacket you had been wearing and threw on the sweater. Mark did the same.
You handed him a steaming mug and you plopped down on the couch together. "We should watch the snow," You stated and got back up. You padded to the front door, pulled it open and sat down in the hallway, looking at the snow that fell down on the porch. Mark soon joined you and together you stared at the beautiful winter wonderland outside.
"When are you going back to work?" You asked.
"We continue shooting Avengers 4 in a few days," He sighed.
"Can I come along?" You asked.
"I'm sure you can join us a day or two," He smiled.
"There's honestly no better way to spend Christmas." You breathed dreamily.
"You know what would be better?" He asked.
"What?"
"If there would be a mistletoe," He said. You grinned to yourself. You had put up a mistletoe when you arrived.
"Look up," You whispered. He slowly did so and laughed. Then you grabbed the collar of his sweater and pulled him close, connecting your lips with his.
"Merry Christmas, Mark."
"Merry Christmas, Y/N."

"Good morning, snowflake," A raspy voice next to your head said. You turned around to face Mark.
You smiled softly. "Good morning. Merry Boxing Day."
"I made you breakfast, are you coming?" He said. You closed your eyes again and nodded.
"In a few, I first want to sleep for a few more hours," You mumbled into the fabric of your pillow.
Mark chuckled and got up. "C'mon, sleeping beauty, the toast is getting cold." He grabbed your arm and started tugging.
"No, leave me here. I've had too much wine last night," You groaned.
"You had no wine last night so that's bull," He said and continued dragging you out of bed. Your butt hit the floor and you let out a whine.
"The bed was way warmer."
"Sorry, hun, but I know for a fact that you like my scrambled eggs a lot," He grinned. You rolled your eyes at him.
You wrapped yourself in your bathrobe after Mark had thrown it in your direction.
You followed him down the stairs and plopped down on the chair at the kitchen table. Mark placed a plate in front of you and you spotted a small pile of scrambled eggs, toast, sausages, and a freshly made mug of coffee.
"This looks amazing, Mark. Thank you." You kissed his cheek and he sat down across from you. You talked about life while you munched away your breakfast.
"So, what are we going to do today?"
