*It's Beginning To Look A Like Christmas*
"Haz, shouldn't we start getting the house ready for Christmas?" You asked your boyfriend of 3 years as the two of you were cuddling on the couch while watching Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets.
"Yeah, probably. It's Christmas in like five days," He responded. "We'll start tomorrow. We can go to the woods to cut down the perfect tree," He hummed in response.
"Or we can just go to the store and buy one." You noted.
"But that's so boring. I want to do it properly. When I was younger, I used to go to the woods with my dad and cut down the perfect tree. It could take up to three hours until we had found said perfect tree," He said.
"We're not going to walk in the forest for three hours," You warningly said.
"That depends on whether or not we can find a tree or not," He playfully smirked. You laughed and swatted his arm.

"Haz, it's been forty-five minutes, I can't feel my feet anymore," You whined as you followed behind your very enthusiastic boyfriend. He had an ax with him that he swung through the air every once in a while.
"What about this one?" He completely ignored your previous complaint.
"I think it's beautiful." Right now, you were saying yes to every tree just so you could go home and bring your feet back to life.
"You think?" He asked.
"Yes, it's perfect." You walked over to him and wrapped your hands around his bicep in an attempt to warm up your fingers.
"Then we'll take it." He quickly kissed your temple before stepping toward the tree and started cutting it down.
As soon as the tree hit the ground, you let out a joyous cheer. "Alright, let's go home," You said and lifted the front of the tree.

"Okay, time for the star." Harrison excitedly clapped his hands together. You grabbed the silver star from the box of Christmas decorations and handed it to him. He stood on his toes to reach the top of the tree but managed to get the star to be perched on top of the tree.
He stepped back and stood next to you to see what the tree looked like. You had placed golden and silver garlands in the branches with red ornaments, such as balls, angels, and stars. "I feel like we're missing something." You frowned, tilting your head to the side.
"I know what!" Harrison gasped before diving into the box.
"Haz, what're you doing?" You asked.
"Hold on," He muttered. He reached deep down into the box and came back with a bag of fake snow.
"I knew we were missing something," You proudly smiled and snatched the bag from his grasp.
You took some fake snow and started sprinkling it on the branches of the tree. Harrison followed your lead and took some snow himself.
You stepped back again. "Now it's perfect," Haz said with a fulfilled look on his face.
Next up was the rest of your house. "Let's put these in every doorway," Harrison giggled like a six-year-old girl as he held up a bunch of mistletoes.
"That's the most terrible idea I've ever heard you come up with," You said, shaking your head with a laugh.
"Why?" He pouted.
"You know that Tom's family is coming over on Boxing day right?"
"Yeah, what do they have to do with it?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Do you want me to be kissing Tom with Christmas instead of you?" You hinted. Realization dawned on him.
"Oh," was everything he said.
He took some other decorations and ornaments from the box and started spreading them through the room. You followed his lead and sprawled a set of Christmas blankets on the couch. Adding a few fluffy pillows, you stepped back and judged your masterpiece. "Perfect," You hummed contently.
"Y/N, what do you think?" Harrison called. You whipped around and saw a string of fairy lights strung from the door to the other side of the room like a set of garlands.
"Haz, it's beautiful." Your jaw dropped.
"Let's make some cookies." Sometimes, you wondered if you had ADD.
You rushed to the kitchen but were caught by the waist in the middle of your journey. "Haz, let me go," You giggled as he started tickling your sides. He didn't let go but stopped tickling. He put you back on your feet and stared at you lovingly. "What?" You asked as his blue orbs drilled into your soul.
"Nothing, it's just so adorable how excited you get over Christmas," He smiled warmly. You giggled and kissed his lips before wiggling free and running to the kitchen.
You grabbed everything you needed for the cookies from the cabinets and started preparing the dough. Harrison soon joined you and handed you the things you asked for, such as flour and butter.
Eventually, you had achieved a beautiful ball of brown, gingerbread dough. "Where did we put the shapes?" Haz frowned.
"In the top cabinet which only you can reach," You sent him a playful glare. He chuckled and grabbed the shapes.
You sprawled the dough on the countertop after putting some flour on it and started rolling it. You gave half of it to your boyfriend who excitedly took it in his hands. He grabbed the biggest gingerbread man shape and started cutting out as much gingerbread men as he could.

"These gingerbread cookies are amazing," Tom said with a mouth full of gingerbread cookies.
"Thanks, but Haz made most of them. At least, he shaped them," You said with a giggle.
"Where is he anyway?" Harry asked, looking around the room.
"I have no idea, I stopped wondering fifteen minutes ago," You shrugged.
The door to the living room burst open and a snow-covered and drenched Harrison came barging in. "Haz, watch the floor!" You called before running in his direction.
"Yeah, I'm fine, Y/N, thanks for asking," He huffed.
"Where the hell have you been?" You asked, pushing him back to the hallway. He removed his coat and shoes and threw them on a pile.
"Outside," He stated. You looked at him questioningly. "It's a surprise for when everyone leaves." He grinned.
"Well, Tom has eaten almost every gingerbread cookie so if you want one, you better hurry," You said, putting his coat on the heater. Harrison's eyes grew big and he ran to the living room. You followed behind him and found him protecting the plate of cookies from Tom's grasp.
You laughed joyfully and sat back down in your chair where Monty, Harrison's dog, climbed on your lap instantly. You ran your fingers through his fur and soon after, the dog had fallen asleep.

"Tonight was amazing, thank you so much for coming," You thanked the Holland's with a sincere smile.
"The pleasure was all ours," Nikki, Tom's mother, smiled before hugging you. You opened the front door and immediately let out a loud laugh.
Domonic and Nikki were standing underneath a mistletoe. They sent your boyfriend a playful glare and shortly kissed each other on the cheek.
You hadn't noticed Tom and his younger brothers scheming something behind your back and in no time, you and Haz were standing underneath the bundle. You shot them a glare before pulling Harrison in for a long, passionate kiss.
"Merry Christmas, darling," He smiled.
"Merry Christmas, Harrison," You replied.
