#36 Infinity War

!!MAJOR INFINITY WAR SPOILERS!!

Steve Rogers / Captain America

Steve had left five days ago to fight yet another threat and to say you were afraid he wasn't coming home was an understatement. You had sat on the couch all day, staring at the news in fear and prayed that you wouldn't hear that your husband had passed away or went missing.

A knock on the door caused you to jump up and you speeded to the front door. You ripped it open and immediately burst out in tears as the worn appearance of your husband stood in front of you. You launched yourself into his arms and held him close.

"You're back," You breathed and you heard a sniff leave his body. You pulled back and saw his eyes were filled with tears. "Steve, what's wrong?" You asked, an uneasy feeling settling in the bottom of your stomach.

He let out a shivering sigh. "It's... It's Bucky... He's gone," He mumbled, his voice cracking. You clasped your hands over your mouth.

"Oh, Steve." You gently wiped away the tears descending his cheeks before pulling him in a tight hug.

Tony Stark / Iron Man

It had been merely an hour since you and Tony had walked in the park and now you were staring at the television in horror. Silent sobs were leaving your throat as you clasped your arms around your two-month pregnant belly.

You had told Tony you were pregnant this afternoon and now he was gone. The news announced: Tony Stark Missing

You couldn't believe that he did this to you. He knew how important it was to you that you were pregnant and you didn't want to think of what would happen if he wasn't coming home. You knew he went with Bruce Banner this guy named Doctor Strange.

You and Tony were getting married soon and you hated him for leaving you like this.

Clint Barton / Hawkeye (I know he isn't in the movie but just roll with it!)

"I should be helping them but instead I'm stuck in here!" Clint exclaimed as he paced around the living room. The two of you were watching the news which showed a giant round spaceship floating through New York. Not even a few minutes later, the reporter stated that Tony Stark had gone missing.

"Clint, honey, calm d-" You tried to calm your husband down but he wasn't having it.

"How can I calm down?! Those are my friends and I can't help them! What if something happens to them?" He shouted, slightly startling you.

You stood up. "Clint, listen to me." He turned to you with an angry frown. "They can handle this. You just have to sit this one out." You brushed your fingers through his hair.

He sighed, dropping his head. "I know." He wrapped his arms around you and kissed your head.

Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier

You had been fighting alongside Bucky, Steve and the others in Wakanda.

Thor had landed his new axe into Thanos's chest and held his head in his hand. "You should've... You should've gone for the head..." You heard Thanos say and he raised his hand before he snapped his fingers.

A shock ran down your spine. Thanos disappeared, leaving nothing but confusion behind. "Where did he go?" Steve asked.

"Y/N?" You heard Bucky's voice call and you turned around, only to see him crumbling to dust. He fell to his knees and disappeared.

"Bucky?" You called and speeded to the place where he had vanished. You ran your fingers through the dust and ashes on the floor where your boyfriend had stood not even a minute ago. Your bottom lip trembled heavily as you realized he was gone.

Peter Parker / Spider-Man

You sat in the schoolbus beside Peter as you were on a field trip with your class. You were listening to the music that blasted through your headphones as your head rested on Peter's shoulder.

You felt his body shoot up and you tiredly sat up, taking out your headphones. "What's wrong?" You asked and Peter whipped around. A giant donut looking thing was hovering in the air above the city of New York.

Peter was already digging through his backpack. "Pete, tell me you're not going to fight that thing," You whispered.

"I can't just sit around, I have to do something," He replied and started slapping his best friend's cheek, who was sitting in front of you. "Ned, I need you to cause a distraction," He told him.

Ned looked over his shoulder and as his eyes fell on the spaceship, he breathed, "Holy shit." Then he jumped to his feet. "We're all gonna die!" He exclaimed and caused a slight panic in the bus and everyone rushed to the back.

You turned to your boyfriend. "Please be safe," You said softly and he nodded, leaning in to kiss your lips.

"Aren't I always?" He said and you looked at him knowingly. "Okay, don't answer that." He put on his webshooters and swung out of the window.

Bruce Banner / Hulk

Two years. It had been two years since you last had seen Bruce.

You were one of the protectors of the Time Stone and at the moment, you and Stephen Strange were discussing where to go for lunch.

Stephen had been your best friend for years and he had been your biggest comfort after Bruce had vanished from your life. "Stephen, I'm not going to Subway again, we went there yesterday. Can't we just get Chinese or something?" You protested.

"You can get Chinese but I'm getting Subway," Strange stubbornly stated and you let out a groan. Your best friend turned to you but didn't get a chance to say anything as a loud and bright beam blasted through the roof and crashed into the stairs. Stephen's cloak came to the rescue immediately and draped itself over his shoulders.

Stephen was the first to move and he slowly approached the hole in the stairs. He peered inside but didn't say anything. He waved you over and you looked over the edge. Your breath got stuck in your throat as you laid eyes on him.

It was Bruce. "Bruce?" You breathed.

"Thanos is coming..." Was all he said before you jumped down and locked him in an embrace.

"Where the hell have you been?" You asked, pulling back to scan him for any injuries. There didn't seem to be any.

"Long story," He said before he connected his lips with yours.
