Letty's barely settled in. She's been at this saditty school for less than a semester and she's still awkward around all the rest of the staff even with Sim being all welcoming and understanding. But she needed a change so she doesn't regret it -- least til back to school night when she finds out what the PTA's really on.

Luckily aspiring lawyer, president of the debate team and the girl he hasn't stopped staring at since they moved in happens to be there to help him out so maybe he didn't really sacrifice anything tonight. After seeing the new kids lose their parents right in front of them, Willie Mae is terrified. All she wants to do is run back home b/c there's no way anything happened to her family. But Ms. Trenier and the guidance counselor have a plan to keep them safe and trusting them might be all she has right now.
