Middle child of nine, Carolina was raised different than her baby is now. It was Game of Thrones for her; she's in medical school or engineering, there is no middle ground. There was no room for a personal life or exploring shit, which her family considered a good thing since they barely trusted any other kids. When her parents passed, like some stereotypical character from Grey's Anatomy, she used all that grief to drive her straight into the medical field, she did that. While most of her family's spread out and basically not speaking to each other, she found a hospital and the one good boy and settled down. She's not hard for a psychiatrist to figure out, she knows herself and she knows everybody she fixed at the hospital was to try to balance some invisible scale her parents are on the other side of. 

After a wrong place-wrong time scenario at home, she doesn't want to try and fail to fix anybody ever again. So she takes her baby, Tatiana, who she's letting be herself, and that other one currently growing inside of her thanks to her now dead boyfriend, and moves over 1,000 mi away to the suburbs she let Tania pick out on a map. She's 2 months pregnant working in a garage, which is considerably lower-stress, and making her baby girl her priority. It's hard enough just being a autistic savant growing up, she doesn't want to think what tragically losing her father piles on on top of that. 

She's comfortable where they are, how they are, until this smirking motherfucker has the audacity to drop a dying boy off at the garage. He could be any of the kids she grew up with, and now she has to overcome her greatest fear and fix this innocent young man with just what she has in her sanctuary. There's no middle ground and there's no other option when the entire situation fully reminds her of the father of her children she failed to save, so Nine fixes him.

                              I recently binge-watched this show, and yea Manny was the reason for the binge watch so here's 6 Inch, What Would You Do is a alternate title just b/c it fit real well and made me snort

                             As far as FCs go the only shit not debatable's Marsai Martin being Tania -- she's my hero I want to be this 14 yo when I grow up y3ni she's making moves I can't imagine and I'm old enough to be her mother 

                             As far as her backstory goes, basically Nelson or Liam or whatever tf you want to call him (disrespectful as shit Ik) is just a innocent bystander, Nine brings him inside their place but she can't save him outside the hospital like that and so he dies right after she finds out she's pregnant again 

                             Nine does some outside shit, maybe for Rio, maybe for his associates, maybe for some of his competitors, she doesn't officially return to the medical field though

                             Speaking of the garage, from what I know -- which is absolutely nothing I don't know shit about engineering and mechanics like that -- with limits, she can be pregnant and a mechanic

                             Ofc I forgot about Tania and had to come back and edit this! So on a scale of Judith Grimes to Micah West, she's more towards Micah, her and Nine can be so fucking sweet and flawless but sometimes they be trying each other with/out reason
