CLOVERFIELD - Rooster

They've been grounded so long she barely remembers what it's like up there on the station. She's been grounded so long she had the time to take on a student while working on the particle accelerator. So long, she's actually letting Mousa convince her to have a normal life and telling her assistant to take the day off and report her findings tomorrow. Considering what she's seeing happen right now, she's feeling like there might not be a tomorrow. The main goal now is crossing town to get back to the main lab for suits, their data and equipment. It can only be assumed that everybody working on the project up at the station is gone and they know some of their colleagues are gone already. So it's on them to find a solution to either reverse this or beat this.

They were transferred to work on the project bel-Qahera el-Gedida back in 2027. It's 2029 now and he's barely seen the city. While he loves what he does and spending all day working with the one person he's on the same wavelength as, he wants to have a life outside of work and he wants to learn what Zainab's like outside of work. He wouldn't know any better since he's basically been stuck inside for over a year, so maybe the city's always been like this -- it's messed up they can't even explore the city a full 24 hrs together before Godzilla's inbred cousin ends modern civilization though.
