Deidra got out she's at one of the top universities in the country, she's fast tracking to medical school, both Jet and Laney are acing their classes back home, their mother works at Bank of America now, and she hasn't heard anything about Truman in over a year. Deidra could not be happier soaking up everything she can and trying to break records academically, but sometimes at the top floor of the library around midnight she misses her special brand of multitasking. One night in particular up there she's not alone anymore, yeah, she's seen what he looks like, doesn't mean she's about to lose focus.

He already lost focus. Remy grew up living a sheltered life, without much able to distract him from rising to the top of his class. And now it's more of the same. Until a Woman starts showing up to the clinicals he takes, and then charming everybody he wanted to at the BSU orientation mixer, and then he starts seeing her at the top floor he's going to to study. He's getting the feeling the university hospital's only picking one student and it's her. And so he goes for it and decides to approach her. Maybe a year back he would've tried messing with the competition and trying to get in her head, but those eyes alone generate this reflex where he just does not want to play games.

Now they're inseparable, exploring all those facets of college life they never explored before -- everything from their first college parties semesters late to some semi illegal extracurricular shenanigans. With her, he's finally living and with him, she's finally living for herself

LITTLE EXTRA: I can't lie this idea might be shit but the world needs a Deidra spin off/sequel

Also b/c I was obsessed with Rosie and they're the only reason I gave Riverdale a minute of my time feel free to change the story and make Ross Butler Remy
