So this first episode was amusing. It included smut, action, demons, smut, hot men, smut, more demons, and smut!

Just kidding (though the smut's real). This first episode was really enjoyable. It had the perfect balance of exposition, and forshadowing that made it possible for me to develop several theories about what might happen next.

And let me just say now. This fangirl thinks it might be hard to decide between main characters Alphonso, a beautiful blonde prince, and Leon, the golden person! Ah, the toils of a fangirl~

I do have to warn that this episode is mostly shot in a brothel with a lot of suggested actions. Not to mention the the man is buff, and totally not my taste. It was sad, but very interesting to listen to the story he had to tell.

Moving on, the animation is pretty good. There were a few choppy frames I just happened to notice, but everything is pretty smooth. The transitions, the actions -- everything. The animation for the opening is kind explicit though, just a warning -- In fact, this whole episode was explicit -- but the opening tells Leon's story from birth till he's in his late teens and becomes . . . dun dun dun . . . the golden person~! The music is also nice for both the opening and ending theme. The ending theme sounds a bit like Yosei Teikoku, which is my favorite Japanese band, so that makes me happy.

By the way. How the hell does a woman give birth to a baby while burning at the stake?!
