It all comes down to a brilliant climax as Black Butler: Book of Circus comes to its end. As the falling action starts its roll, a hint -- or maybe foreshadowing -- of the ext arc takes place. Throughout all ten episodes I felt much happiness and much pain as I watched Ciel suffer and thrive through another season. And I have to admit the suffering bit did make me a little happy. Why can't I see him suffer mor--I mean....I love Ciel Phantomhive! He's my favorite character in this whole entire series! *cough* But we did get some character development in this last episode. However, more questions are raised (time to pick up the manga again lel). It is confirmed that Ciel is officially a heartless bastard. But it's not like no one knew that.
In all honesty, I can say that my heart was not ready for the ending. I have muxed emotions with it. What do I do? Where do I go from here? What's up with that scene? What could this possible mean?! I WANT MORE! And of course, all my questions circle around to that final statement of wanting more. I am looking forward to the Book of Murder movie that's coming up. This final episode truly was a wonderful way to end the series, even if it did make me made, pull on my heart strings, and just raise more questions.
On a side note, the ED reminds me of Aoi Shouta's singing.
