"Barry" Nora said softly and approached him and threw her arms around him, his father joined in the hug to and Caitlin approached her father's bed.

"There's my beautiful girl" Arthur said cheerily.

Caittlin took a seat in the chair next to him and gave him a lopsided smile "his dad how are you doing?"

"It's nothing a little calpol won't fix dear" he laughed "remember when you were a little girl? and whenever you hurt yourself or you didn't feel well and we just gave you calpol because it fixed everything" he coughed

"Yeah but calpol isn't going to fixed this"

Nora pulled away from the hug and looked over her son then she glanced behind her to look at caitlin "Barry you know that that's-

Barry sighed "I know who she is but she doesn't know" he let out a breath "let me tell her"

His father patted him on the back "your doing the right thing son"

He knew he was but he could sense the explosion about to happen he'd ruined everything.

Barry looked at caitlin she was currently listening to her dad talk about something.

He walked over to them and he felt slightly guilty for butting in on their convasation-- but what's more guilt aye?

"sorry. But I really talk to its very important"

Caitlin frowned slightly "Oh, okay sure"

Barry nodded towards the door "outside"

She frowned even deeper but followed him into the hall.

He took a deep breath before he finally started the convasation that would problem ruin his relationship with Caitlin.

Forever.

"Okay...so before I tell you this remember that I'm so so sorry and that I love you"

"Barry your kinda making me nervous" she let out an awkward laugh "does this have something to do with your parents?" She asked

"No. No its something I've done and you have permission to yell at me and punch me or whatever you want just remember I'm sorry and I have no excuses"

She nodded slightly and he continued.

"...our parents arranged for us to get married"

He saw the moment his words sunk in her eyes widened slightly in realisation and she silant for a few seconds while she studied his expression.

"...But...your- ergh, why-why are you sorry? your parents just told you that they'd arranged for you to marry me right?" She stuttered

He clenched his jaw and shook his head "no, no don't do that don't try and make me out like I'm not a bad person because I am. All those months ago when my parents told me I was going to marry you I ran away because I'm stupid and I ended up homeless and then-" Barry sighed "I met you. I didn't know that you were the Caitlin I was going to Marry until felicity used your full name that first time we went to Oliver's coffee shop"

Her breath her in her throat and he avoided her gaze "that was ages ago" she said flatly

"Why didn't you tell me!"

Here it comes

"You know how worried I've been about this! I told you how afraid I was of marrying a stranger and all this time you knew!" She yelled and tears stung her eyes

"I trusted you! I love you! I did so much for you I let you live with me and I stayed with you in hospital! The least you could've done was tell me the truth!"

"I know, I'm sorry. I wanted to tell you but I was scared" he said truthfully and desperation seeped into his voice.

She shook her head and whipped her cheeks and turned towards the door.

"Is this the part where I try and fix this?" He asked quirky and her hand paused on the door handle

She didn't turn around "No. This is the part where you watch me leave"

His parents came out of the hospital room a few minuets later and he was still staring at the door.

"Is everything okay? Caitlin looks upset" Nora said

Barry sighed and turned to his father "don't make her marry me. Caitlin is an amazing and kind person she deserves to be happy...she won't be happy with me, not anymore"

"What's this all about?" Nora asked concerned

"I did something stupid and I'm pretty sure I'll regret it forever...I just want to go home" he sighed

But he could never go home because caitlin is his home and that's not just because they live together it's because she makes him feel better no matter what the situation she's like a ray of sun she is the defernition of goodness- but he had to go and break her heart didn't he?!

Nora and Henry looked at each other confused by what was going on "okay just let us say good bye first"

Barry followed his parents inside the private hospital room where caitlin and her father were talking.

"We're leaving now Aurthur but we'll see you tomorrow at dinner"

"Dinner?" Barry and caitlin asked at the same time.

"We're going to have dinner tomorrow with the Snows" Nora explained

"Your not well enough to leave the hospital your-"

Her father cut her with a look "I don't want to die in a hospital Caity"

She sighed and bit her bottom lip "you will you have a professional to take care of your right?"

His silance was her answer.

"Oh my God! You do realise you are going to die soon right?!" Caitlin exclaimed angrily but she wasn't just mad at her father she was mad because she knew why they were having this dinner, to talk about the marriage.

Her father would only be wasting his time and her time left with him and he was only shortening his time by not having help.

He shrugged it off "I don't want to be saved next time. I'm living on borrowed time I have been for a while now"

She shook her head disprovingly "...I'm not attending that dinner" she said flatly

Her father sighed he'd had enough of this convasation "yes you are you know what will happen if you don't"

She glared at her father before turning around and heading out of the room she knew she'd regret leaving her father because he only had a few days left but she was just so angry and she couldn't do anything about it she just had to act like she was fine.

she couldn't marry Barry not after he had lied to her the marriage would be a disaster.

she waited around the corner, and once she saw the Allens leave she slipped into her father's room.

She wordlessly sat on the chair at his bedside just as hee mother walked into the room.

Caitlin swolled before speaking, what she was about to do was stupid and Caitlin knew she was being irrational but she was hurting.

She let out a shaky breath before speaking "...I really don't want to marry Barry we'd both be misreble in that marriage so... you guys have a plan B right?"

Her parents looked at each other before nodding.

Okay so... the next chapter will be dinner and Barry will find out about plan B... this book is nearly over.
