Caitlin went to the adress where the eye guy said he would be and she stopped the street was empty no one was there she double and triple checked the address but no matter many how many times she read it she knew she was in the right place but he wasn't there.

Had he gotten hurt? had something happened to him? or had he just given her a false adress? she didn't know but what she know was that she was worried.

She started pacing she didn't know what to do she couldn't ring the police and make a missing persons report because she didn't know his name or if he was even missing.

That's when she herd it someone coughing it was coming from behind her she turned around and was faced with eye guy one of his eyes were swollen shut and his face was cut bruised and bleeding and his clothes were torn and he was limping.

"Oh my god we need to get you to a hospital"

Eye guy didn't say anything just groaned in pain and caitlin helped him into the back seats of her car.

When they got to the hospital they were immediately seen too and eye guy was rushed away.

"You brought him in?" A nurse asked.

Caitlin nodded she'd been in that hospital waiting room for hours trying to hold herself together.

"can you tell us his name date of birth anything?" The nurse asked

Caitlin shook her head "no I'm sorry I just talk to him sometimes and bring him coffee"

The nurse nodded in understanding "I'll ask him when he waked up but your friends going to be ok we just needed to give him a minor surgery on his left wrist it's very badly broken"

Caitlin nooded "I'll pay for his hospital bills, can I see him?"

The nurse looked hesitated but agreed and took her to a small room where the eye guy was sleeping.

His face was red and swolled and covered in small plaster strips his wrist was banged up so was his leg.

They had cut his clothes off so he was lying in a hospital gown she had never seen him like this before he looked diffrent he looked vulnerable.

A nurse came up behind her "hi I'm carol we want to keep your friend in for a Few days he should wake up anytime now but the longer he's asleep the better because it gives his body more time to heal but when he does get released he'll need to stay with someone untill everything is healed proply because he's broke a few ribs wich effect his breathing and ability too and he broke his wrist and fractured his leg"

Caitlin nodded and without even thinking about it blurted "he can stay with me"

The nurse nodded and left them alone.

It was silant in the small room all that could be herd was the sound of there breathing and the occasional beeping of the machine eye guy was attached to.

It took 2 days for him to wake up, 2! And when he finally woke up she wasn't there because she had gone to get something to eat.

She remebered walking into the room with her sandwich and seeing him try to sit up.

"lie down you'll hurt your self" she snapped.

"Your still here?" He'd asked his voice thick from sleep.

"If course I am, you idiot I thought we were friends, and if one friend comes up to another friend beaten black and blue the other friend stays with them untill they're well again"

Eye guy rolled his eyes "who said we're friends?"

Caitlin shrugged "me"

Eye guy huffed "sure. when can I get out of here?"

Caitlin bit her lip and looked at her hands not wanting to tell him that he had to stay in that bed for another few days untill he was released into her care.

"your awake!" nurse Carol exsclaimed walking into the room.
