Caitlin slept in untill lunch the next morning and barry couldn't blame her he wasn't a fan of hang overs and at least while she was asleep she couldn't feel pain.

When Caitlin finally emerged from her room she was wearing baggy pajama bottoms and a old hoodie that hung off one shoulder and her hair was messy and her face was make up free.

"I think I'm dying" she groaned curling up on the arm chair.

Barry laughed "yeah your lucky I took away your vodka"

Caitlin ran her hands down her face "I don't even remeber that"

"What do you remember?"

Caitlin's eyes widened "Ronnie's mum asking me if there were any genetic conditions in my family because she didn't want her grandchildren to be unhealthy"

Barry chuckled "is that all?"

"What did I do?!"

"A guy touched your ass so you slapped him"

Caitlin hid her face in a cushion "I'm never drinking again"

Barry laughed even harder "its not funny!" She snapped throwing the cushion at him "my head feels like it's going to split open and I feel like I'm going to throw up and you find it funny"

"Ok. Your right it's not funny your 'dying' have you taken any medication?"

"No. did you take your pain-"

"Caitlin we've been over this I'm 22 of course I remembered to take them"

"Did you take them on time?"

"Well...what's half an hour...or you know 45 minuets late going to do" barry stuttered

Caitlin rolled her eyes "I'm going for a bath if I'm not out in and hour I'm dead"

Barry nodded he was still wondering if he should tell her what she said to him about her dad dying or not, or if he should tell her he helped her undress herself.

He decided against the last one because she would just freak out.

For dinner they decide to order in because caitlin couldn't stand up long enough to cook.

"It's your turn to pick the movie" caitlin announced sitting down next to him and munching on small pieces of popcorn.

"We'll watch this one I atually went with my friends to go see this when it first came out" barry said gesturing to The Host  DVD in his hands.

"You don't talk about it alot" caitlin mumbled.

"Talk about what?"

"Your life before this that's the first time you've said anything about it other then the part about your schooling"

"there's not much to talk about" he sighed putting the movie in the DVD player.

"How did you end up..."

"On the streets?"

Caitlin nodded.

"I ran away my parents...wanted me to do something that I didn't want to do, so I saw running away as my only option I ditched everything my credit cards my home my friends my life... I took a thousand dollars out of the bank, got on a train rented out an apartment above a hairdressers for 2 months I got a job as a waiter but the landlord kicked out of my apartment because he wasn't able to keep the property anymore and because I had no where to live I got fired..."

"Where are you from?"

"Hub city"

"So your parents there not nice people?" Caitlin asked tilting her head to one side.

"No. They're the best people I'm just not the best son"

"If they're so amazing why did they want to make you do something you didn't want to do?"

"Me and my friends did something stupid... and we ended up in prison"

Caitlin's eyes widened "what did you do?!"

"Don't worry I didn't kill someone me and my friends got drunk and I was caught drunk driving. I was let out the next morning my mother gave me a lecture about who I could've hurt and how I could've died and my father threatened to cut me off if I ever did something like that again. But that wasn't all they'd found away to 'calm me down' I refused I hated the idea and a week later I ran"

"What did they want you to do?"

"I'd rather not talk about it"

"Ok...you know your parents sound like they really care about you...I bet they're worried"

Barry hummed in agreement "can I ask you a favour? I know I owe you so much already and you don't even have to agree but..."

"Barry just ask me"

"Can I borrow you phone charger?"

"But you don't have a phone" Caitlin said confused.

Barry itched the back of his neck "I do actually from before I just want to show you something"

Caitlin nodded slowly "sure yeah  it's plugged in next to the TV"

Barry thanked her and went to his room to get his old phone out of one of the hidden compartments in his bag.

He went back into the living room and put it on charge "I was going to sell it...but the screens cracked and it's not in very good shape and its got lots of photos on"

"Its ok I understand I'm not going to judge you we all need something to remind us of who we were"

Barry smiled and they continued watching the movie after the movie finished he took his phone off charge and turned it on he was suprised it still worked.

His phone turned on and the messages and the missed calls and the voicemails started coming through.

"I think people are worried about you I mean you have 782! Missed calls that's...just...wow!"

"I've been gone just over 9 months"

"I know but you have" Caitlin looked at his phone "943 messages and 435 voicemails!" Caitlin exsclaimed "they must really love you"

He mumbled something she couldn't under stand then pulled up a photo of him and an old man "this is me when I was 16 years old and this is my grandfather" Barry said pointing to the photo.

"Why are you showing me this?"

"...last night you told me your dad was dying"

Caitlin's breath caught in her throat "I shouldn't have told you that"

"My grandfather suffered from cancer for 2 years before dying a week before my 17th birthday during those years we never knew when it was going to happen there were times when we would get calls in the middle of the night saying he was about to die and then the next morning he'd act like nothing had happened"

"Why are you telling me all of this?"

"I want you to know that your not alone and I know you don't like your parents that much but he's still your father so it must hurt"

Caitlin flung her arms around him hugging him and he tensed "thankyou... was the photo taken in hub city?" She mumbled into his chest.

"No it was taken at my family's house in florid" barry addmitted

Caitlin nodded and decided to shrug off that he had more then one house.

Ok I know it doesn't sound like an ending to a chapter this chapter was originally like 2024 words long so I decided to split it up.
