A Smiley Face On A Dull Day (snowbarry)

1 week later

Barry wasn't sure how to feel right now.

Caitlin was in her room packing her bags ready for there weekend in hub city and he was debating weather or not to tell her that she was supposed to be his wife.

Mannnn his life wasn't normal.

The cuts and bruises on his face were mostly healed and gone but he still had a boot on his leg a cast on his wrist that was getting taken off in 2 weeks and he still took his medication for his ribs caitlin made sure of it.

"Barry?!" Caitlin yelled

"Yeah?!" He shouted back

"Are you ready to go? the hotle is booked for 2!"

"I'll be out in a sec?!" He replied pulling the handle on the suitcase caitlin had given him up until it clicked then pulling it out of his room and into the living room.

"I booked us a twin room it was all they had on short notice, is that OK with you?"

Barry nodded he still couldn't look at her stright did she know who he really was?

Did she know that the person she was suposed to marry had run away?

Was she only doing all this nice stuff for him because she knew who he was?

he was brought out of his thoughts when caitlin started waving her hand in front of his face "Barryyyyy...hey what's wrong?" caitlin said cupping his jaw with one hand.

"I'm fine" he snapped jerking his head so her hand fell away from his face.

She took a step away from him a hurt look flashing across her face.

"I'm sorry" he breathed "it's just... it doesn't matter"

"It does matter if it's got you all worked up is it because we're going to hub city we don't have to I could-"

"Caitlin" barry said softly cutting off her ramble "You are such a kind and amazing person and...I don't deserve you"

Caitlin smiled softly "well too bad your stuck with me"

Barry grinned "I'll meet you at the car ok? I'll lock up"

She nodded and left leaving barry to his own thoughts once again and for some reason he couldn't get her smile out of his head...he was screwed.

1 hour Into the car ride.

"Do you have any songs that are actually from this year?" Barry teased scrolling through caitlin's Spotify play list.

"I'm driving I get to pick the music" she shot back

"Fine we'll listen to kelly Clarkson but if my ears start bleeding your to blame"

Caitlin rolled her eyes "your ears won't start bleeding"

2 hours into the car ride (from hell)

"The sat nav said to go right" barry argued

"Well the sat nav is wrong" caitlin snapped

"It can't be wrong it's a sat nav"

"Are you the one driving here?!"

"No but-"

"Exactly. when your the one driving you can listen to the sat nav all you want"

2 hours and 16 minuets into the car ride (from hell)

"Admit it we're lost" Barry sighed

"We're not lost. We are just exploring places we've never been before"

"Really? 'Cause I'm pretty sure we've been past those tress before"

"Barry we're on the back roads there are trees everywhere"

"Yeah but we've definitely gone passed this one at least 3 times before...Maybe we should turn the sat nav back on" barry suggested

"We don't need the sat nav we're not lost" caitlin said gritting her teeth

"If we're not lost then where are we?"

"We...are...in a car"

"And where is the car?"

"...do you want to get out of this car and walk?!"  Caitlin yelled Making barry wince

"No." He grumbled.

4 hours into the car ride.

"We made it finally" caitlin cheered flopping down on one of the single beds in the twin room they were going to be sharing.

"We would've been here and hour ago if you'd listened to the sat nav" barry mumbled under his breath but of course caitlin herd and she gleared at him.

"I'm going to go freshen up and pretend you didnt say that. Do you want to use the bathroom before I do?" Caitlin asked while unpacking her toiletries.

Barry shook his head "no. I'm good I'm just going to lie down for a bit"

"Ok I'll be out soon and when I'm done we can go out and you can show around hub city"

"Sounds like a plan" Barry agreed

I know this chapter is boring and the next one will be a little boring too but soon it'll get good.
