Barry and caitlin were sat at the island in the kitchen caitlin was studying and barry was reading one of her spare chemistry books because it was one of those days where you had litrally nothing to do or watch on TV apart from the shopping channel or dad's army.

Something started vibrating on the table next to them and the pair looked at each other then back at the phone "Barry your phones ringing"

"Yeah I know"

"Are you going to see who it is?"

Barry picked up his phone and looked at the screen "its my mum"

"Are you going to anwser it!?"

Before barry could do anything the phone stoped ringing and he was left a voicemail and he put it on speaker phone for caitlin to hear.

Bartholomew! I know you've turned your phone back on! Because it didn't go stright to voicemail either that or there's a glitch or I'm going crazy anyway Patty called today. Patty really is a lovely girl I'm not trying to be controlling but maybe one day you'll finally listen to us and-

Barry ended the voicemail not wanting caitlin to here the rest "Who's patty?"

"Nobody"

Caitlin shook her head she knew he was lying but she was willing to let it drop.

"I have a date with ronnie in an hour" she mumbled not looking up from her text book.

"Yeah you told me this morning how are things going with him?"

Caitlin shrugged "I'm going to break up with him tonight"

"Why?"

"I never date anyone for more then 3 months Julian my last boyfriend only lasted 2 months"

"Have you and Ronnie even been together for 3 months?"

Caitlin shrugged "I'm not keeping count but there's something about him I don't like you know?"

"Maybe he's gay" barry blurted.

"What?!" Caitlin giggled

"Well while you were changing your ear rings he asked me if I was single"

Caitlin kept laughed then paused "Hummm...he does have some weird obsession over everything I wear and complaints my clothes not me... but it can't be that because we've had-"

Barry cleared his throat "I don't want to know"

Caitlin burst out laughing again "awww are you seqemish when it comes to S-E-X"

"Why are you saying it like that we're not 8 years old?!"

Caitlin shook her head amused "can I ask you a serious question?"

"Go ahead"

"Are you gay?"

"No. definitely not we've been through this"

"I know it's just you don't really talk about your past girlfriends or anything like that"

"Do you want me to tell you about my ex?"

Caitlin nodded

"Well ever since I was 15 I'd had a crush on litrally the girl next door Iris. when I was 19 I realised I loved her and a few months after my 20th birthday I told her I loved her"

Caitlin's eyes widened "what did she say?!"

"Well she slapped me"

Caitlin bit her lip trying not to laugh.

"Its not funny." Barry said flatly "after she slapped me I didn't see her for an entire month and I blamed myself for her being gone but it turned out she had been with her boyfriend who was one of my best friends the whole time and everyone knew but me"

"I'm sorry barry"

"Don't be, wait until you hear what happened next...she came to me crying because Eddie had broken up with her so me being me I comforted her because I loved her she told me she was sorry for slapping me across the face...then she told me she loved me and she only dated Eddie to try get over what I told her"

"Well that's great the girl who you love, loved you back" caitlin exsclaimed.

"I don't love her anymore trust me...we went out on a date but when we got there I saw Eddie with his new girlfriend there I thought nothing off it but it turned out she was using me to make him jealous and of course the next day she came to me crying and begging for forgiveness so I gave her it in a second"

Caitlin winced "I'm guessing that want a good idea?"

"Yeah. I didn't tell anyone this but 2 months later I found her with Eddie in my bed"

Caitlin let out a small gasp.

"That night I went out with my friends got so drunk I couldn't even say my own name and it felt amazing untill me and my friends were arrested...I'll never forget the look on my parents face's when they bailed me out"

"I'm so sorry barry" caitlin said softly.

"Hey its not your fault my girlfriend was a bitch"

The phone started ringing again and caitlin handed it to barry "its your mum"

Barry stared at the screen before pressing...
