BTS - Taehyung

The first rays of morning light seeped in from the space between the curtains, waking me from a very deep sleep. I sighed and rolled over only to find the spot beside me empty.

Gentle whispers could be heard from the room next to mine so I willed myself to get up and investigate. Rubbing the sleep from my eyes I walked down the hall toward the doorway, stopping at the entrance to observe the scene before me.

Leaning against the side of a small pink nursery was Taehyung, my husband. "...soon you are going to be so big, and I'll teach you to ride a bike, play video games and cook. Obviously we can't rely on your mother to show you how to cook, I love her with all my heart but she can't make a meal to save her life." He cooed, "don't grow up too fast, I know you may think being a kid sucks but its the best time of your life."

I smiled and walked over to him, wrapping my arms around his torso. "You know she can't understand a word you're saying right?"

"Yeah I know, but whenever I talk she gets this goofy smile and its so cute!" Taehyung replied.

"Its probably gas." I teased, letting out a small laugh.

He chuckled, "You know we were fine until you got up."

"Why are you up so early anyway?" I asked, resting my head on his shoulder.

"I just couldn't sleep, I kept thinking about how tiny she is and then I thought what if she got stuck between the mat and the side of the crib. But then I realized nothing bad can happen if I stand here and watch her." He rambled on, "I just get so worried, the worrying will never stop will it?"

I sighed "Probably not."

"I just love her so much." He said poking her belly causing our little girl to giggle.

I grinned. "We made that."

"We did a good job. Want another one?" Taehyung joked, turning to face me.

"No, not for a long time anyway." I responded quickly, "one is enough for now."

For a few minutes we stood in silence watching our daughter roll around and giggle. I never knew I could love someone so much. "Breakfast?" I suggested, pecking his cheek.

"Good idea, I'll be down in a minute." He said, waving me off.

I chuckled and walked out of the nursery. What did I do to deserve such a wonderful and beautiful family?

Inspiration suddenly hit me and this is the result. I don't think any of you are active anymore but that's ok.
